Historia
Every morning and evening, Zoe Walker takes the same route to the train station, waits at a certain place on the platform, finds her favorite spot in the car, never suspecting that someone is watching her. It all starts with a classified ad. During her commute home one night, while glancing through her local paper, Zoe sees her own face staring back at her - a grainy photo along with a phone number and a listing for a website called FindTheOne.com.

Awesome book. Unique plot and very creepy. A few things were a little predictable, but it didn't ruin the story. There were enough twists to keep it interesting. The narrator was great.

Fun and weird
Revisado: 12-17-16
This book is really different from anything I usually listen to. I typically don't care for fantasies but I really liked this one. Other fantasy books I've enjoyed are Menagerie, Something Wicked This Way Comes, and The Scorpio Races. This book is just as good as those, but a little less dark. I would recommend it to anyone.

Nostalgic and still wonderful!
Revisado: 12-04-16
I read this book in middle school a long long time ago. I didn't really remember the details, just the basics and I remembered how sad it made me. It really messed me up as a 12 year old. So I wanted to see what it would be like as an adult all these years later. Still messed me up. I still cried. And though the story is almost 60 years old now, everything presented is still relevant. I love it. It will change the way you think about everything. What you have and what you don't have, and what it means to be human.

An awesome movie, and an even better book!!!
Revisado: 12-01-16
I was hesitant to try this one because I saw the movie long ago not knowing about the book. I hate when movies deviate too far from the original story, and I also prefer to read a book before watching the movie version just in case the movie is horrible, at least it wouldn't ruin the book. Not the case here at all! Sometimes knowing a plot twist or an ending makes me lose interest pretty quickly, but I didn't have that problem. The book has so much more detail (as it should) and the plot itself is so much bigger than could have been portrayed on film. If you liked the movie, you should get the book. If you haven't seen it yet, get the book. I will definitely try more books by this author.

Nest of endless discussions
Revisado: 11-27-16
This was an original plot with interesting characters and could have been a 5 star book. It was set up to be a really fantastic listen then faded into monotony. It starts off interesting and ends interesting. But the entire middle portion gets really boring as it mainly consists of one character over explaining things to the other character who played dumb the whole time and took forever to grasp concepts ... it goes on and on til you just want them to shut up. Still, it wasn't the worst I've ever heard. But I don't know if I would purchase anymore from this author. There are too many run-on sentences

Revisado: 09-07-16
I wasn't sure what to expect from this book or from the narrator, as they are both new to me, but I'm so glad I found it! The narration was impeccable! The story starts off a little confusing, but it doesn't take long to figure out what's going on.... And it's extremely disturbing. It will make you question how well you really know the people in your life, and what they might be capable of in the privacy of their own home. Worth a credit, will definitely look for more by this author and narrator.

This book was excellent. I haven't found a book I like this much in a really long time. It's well written and holds your attention from start to finish. It kept me guessing til the very end. This is one of my favorite narrators, she's always spectacular. I'm gpa I found this book and will look for more books from this author for sure. Love love love

Hard to listen to
Revisado: 07-29-16
The narrator ruined this book for me. He was HORRIBLE! His neutral reading voice wasn't the worst I've heard, but every last one of his character voices were awful. It was cartoonish actually. His voices for the urban characters were absolutely ridiculous. It was the auditory equivalent to watching actors perform in black face in old movies. Inner city thugs and prostitutes don't talk like Alabama sharecroppers from the early 1900s. The voice of the main villain and the attorneys and police were also super obnoxious. And don't even get me started on the voice he used for Abby. I started this book multiple times over the last 6 months or so and was never able to get more than a few chapters in. I finally gritted my teeth and finished it. The story is actually ok once you try to ignore the narrator's voices. Except there was one thing that really irritated me.... The baby was only 4 months old, but the author kept writing about ppl feeding her Cheerios and cereal, and also said she recognized a stranger's face from across the room and reached out for her and started laughing. That's absolute nonsense. My advice is either read the book yourself, or just skip it altogether. Unless obnoxious character voices don't bother you.

Revisado: 07-04-16
I really liked this book a lot. The narration was impeccable. The story was different and very interesting. I was surprised I liked it so much because typically prefer more action and less drama, but there was a lot of suspense throughout and it was hard to stop listening. I will try other books by this author, and definitely look for more read by these narrators.
