Historia
The superwealthy in America have been using the insurance industry as their own personal piggy bank since the start of the industrial revolution. When you do it right, you can use this same practice to protect your money all the way until retirement. This is more than just a garbage insurance strategy. This is about investing your money in a way that the fat cats on Wall Street don't like. It's low risk, high reward.

Absolutely Terrible!
Revisado: 09-30-16
I have read a lot of financial books this year and this one is definitely one of the worst. All that they talked about the entire time was their 7702 plan and how you need to go to their website to get it setup. There was absolutely zero DIY information in case you are interested in managing your own assets.
In the beginning they try to scare you and tell you how terrible the stock market is. They go on and on about downside. Downside is extremely important, but this book makes it sound like the only option is to go to their website and sign up with one of their advisers.
I really wish that I could get my money back on this one.

Historia
Becoming rich is not a matter of environment or talent. Money and property come to us as a result of doing things in a certain way. This is a natural law - the Law of Attraction - which states that specific actions always produce like effects. As a result, anyone who learns to do things in a certain way will ultimately become prosperous.

Terrible
Revisado: 08-24-16
There is absolutely NO science in this book. It should be called The Vague Philosophy of Getting Rich.
It goes on and on about "the substance that fills the universe." Then it goes on and on about thinking of an idea and then it will just magically make you rich.
There is a section where it talks about ignoring the poor or anything to do with the poor. There is a section where it talks about not communicating with the dead or with spirits. All of that BS and not one mention of a PE ratio or even an index fund.
I was expecting a step by step, and almost formulaic approach (hence the science), but all I got was 3 hours of my life that I will never get back.
If you want some good reads, try these books instead.

Pretty good but not great
Revisado: 02-28-16
The just of the book: buy assets (things that make you money). The stories were good, but I felt that the concepts were a bit generalized. I guess what assets you prefer is unique to each individual, but I wish that the book went into a little more detail or gave more examples. It was good, but not life changing.

Worth the read
Revisado: 02-28-16
This is a good book to reinforce the idea of saving. It pretty much says save 10% of your money and pay yourself first. This book would be great for someone who does not know how to save their money. The stories and parables keep your interest the entire time so that you don't get bored. Cool book.

Kinda boring
Revisado: 02-28-16
Everything you really need to know is in the first few chapters. After that, it reads like stereo instructions except not as exciting.
Here's my Cliff Notes:
Use an LLC to protect assets and limit your liability for most small businesses. Avoid general partnerships and sole proprietorships. If you have multiple businesses or rental properties, put each one in a separate LLC. S and C corporations are beyond the needs of most small businesses. Incorporating in Wyoming or Nevada have benefits over other states. There are a few other good tidbits, but this book kinda sucked. There were times when I was driving and listening, and I thought, "Dear God when will this book be over?" I definitely learned some stuff, but I just did not enjoy the writing style. You could definitely tell that it was written by a lawyer.

Awesome!
Revisado: 02-28-16
I learned a lot about the history of investing, corruption, and so much more. I love how the author talks about so many different strategies and how none of them are as effective as a buy and hold strategy. A lot of other books just give vague/general advice, but this book recommends actual index funds that work. I learned all of this and so much more. I have read about 7 investing books so far and this has been the best.

Just ok content...love the narrator
Revisado: 02-28-16
I love George Guidall as a narrator, but I didn't care for the book. The 15 steps to analyze a stock seem good in theory, but who really shows up in person to a business? It was just not my cup of tea. I much preferred A Random Walk Down Wallstreet and A Beginners Guide To Investing.
