beautiful love story

This was a new author to me and after reading this one I will definitely be adding all her books to my tbr. I absolutely fell in love with these characters. I love when an author can make me feel like I know the characters and this author really does that.

Royal is a swimmer and is at college on a scholarship with his sister Indie who is an artist. Camden is a piano prodigy who is at the college as well. He is the roommate to the swim team captain who ends up being Royal's best friend. Camden has always known he is different and when his parents made him feel ashamed of that he ends up hiding from the world. When he meets Royal everything changes. Royal has never been attracted to men but when he meets Camden he starts to feel things that he has never felt before. When he and Camden decide to explore what is between them they feel like they have to hide because of the college they are in and the views of Camden's parents. They will eventually have to decide if they can keep on hiding or bring their relationship into the light.

This was an absolutely beautiful story of love and acceptance. I just wanted to hug them both and was constantly cheering them on.

I really liked the concept of this story but overall it fell a little flat. Julia and Adam were a very sweet couple but everything felt really rushed and every time you turned around some drama was coming to light trying to keep them apart. I will probably read the rest of the series but I'm hoping they get better from here.

You can't beat a good billionaire romance.

Abbie comes from a very religious upbringing. Her and her boyfriend have been saving themselves for marriage (and they play to get married right after graduation from the Christian college they are both attending) but when she walks in on him having sex with another girl she realizes he obviously didn't want to wait anymore. He tells her he just needs to "get it out of his system" and she should wait for him while they take a break. She decides she can't wait around and watch him parade his new girlfriend around their hometown for the summer so she takes a summer job at a new luxury hotel in Alaska. She thinks she will be able to work on the landscape crew and enjoy nature but the CEO decides she would be better off working as his assistant. Abbie knows Henry is gorgeous but thinks there is no way he would be attractive to her. Henry shows her just how wrong she is. Will she be able to keep her heart out of the equation when their relationship turns more personal than professional?

I really loved this book and can't wait to continue the series.

Beauty from tragedy

I absolutely loved this story. Jonah and Lacey prove that love and beauty can come from tragedy. I would highly recommend this series but have your tissues ready.
