Historia
Rookie Det. Kenda investigates a 1975 case that begins with the murder of a beloved Colorado philanthropist and society figure whose husband, a gambler and womanizer, appears to have an air-tight alibi. Mentored by his veteran partner Det. Lee Wilson, a former Nashville singer turned skilled investigator, Kenda’s case quickly attracts attention from the FBI, CIA, and Interpol, for its similarity to a string of killings involving wealthy married women. All the murders appear to have been committed by a hired professional.

Can’t wait for Part 3!
Revisado: 09-25-23
This series has definitely kept me on the edge of my seat. I enjoy vampires and this twist has been very satisfying. The Dunraven sisters and the entire cast are interesting and well developed characters. I look forward to hearing more. The show is very well written and the characters are portrayed well also. I’ll be watching for part 3 with anticipation.

Historia
Welcome to Hemlock Cove, where the town is magically rebranded - but real witches aren't necessarily welcome. That makes things hard for the Winchester witches - including local newspaper reporter Bay. She's got a persnickety family - wait until you met Aunt Tillie - and a penchant for stumbling across trouble.

Good story- too much hyperbole
Revisado: 04-05-19
The stories are actually pretty good. The writing could use a lot less hyperbole. Everything has to be enhanced. It gets annoying when the the person has to speak annoyingly, nod miserably, etc. There are just too many adjectives when describing the dialogue. The stories are really good if you can overlook that part. The characters, especially Aunt Tilley are interesting and well described. The family dynamic for the Winchester witches is believable. I got along with my sister the same as the cousins. The narrator really should brush up on her pronunciation. There were several words that were repeatedly mispronounced. Argh! I also agree with another reviewer who pointed out the misuse of I instead of me, as in He did that to my cousin and I, when me should be used. It tends to detract from the story sometimes.

Kept me on the edge of my seat
Revisado: 09-12-18
Both the performance and the book itself kept me wanting to listen. I liked that all the characters, pat and present, felt like real people; people I wanted to get to know. The mystery was fascinating as was the gritty depiction of Rose’s time period. Tess didn’t stint on the horrors of being poor and Irish back then. She made this reader see the gulf between rich and poor. She was also openly and subtly descriptive of the awful conditions pregnant women suffered in the maternity wards of the day. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to the narrator as well. She gave voice to each of the characters and brought them to life.

A fun series to listen to
Revisado: 11-13-17
I have really enjoyed the entire series. This one was more personal, giving more about the main character M.J. I really like that Victoria Laurie makes her characters real. The story was spooky without being terrifying. A bit more gory than usual but not so much that I wanted to put it down.
.
I like the main characters, especially Gilley who is just the best, sometimes worst, BFF ever! I can actually feel the frustration and love M.J. has for him.
I had actually read the final book in the series first so I'm going to give it a listen again. I would recommend the series if you enjoy a good ghost or paranormal story without too much gooey romance. The romance is there but not overwhelming.

Historia
On November 22, 1963, three shots rang out in Dallas, President Kennedy died, and the world changed. What if you could change it back? In this brilliantly conceived tour de force, Stephen King - who has absorbed the social, political, and popular culture of his generation more imaginatively and thoroughly than any other writer - takes listeners on an incredible journey into the past and the possibility of altering it.

Absorbing
Revisado: 06-09-15
What did you love best about 11-22-63?
I found the story interesting and absorbing. I'm not normally a Stephen King fan, but this not only held my attention, but kept me interested in the story. I liked the fact that the characters were well-rounded, even if you only met them briefly.
What did you like best about this story?
Stephen King's take on time travel and how the past fights change.
What does Craig Wasson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Craig Wasson did a wonderful job in portraying the characters, not only the fictional, but those who were real people from the past.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
At 30+ hours, i would not choose to listen to it all in one sitting.
