He was at the heart of British politics for over 40 years during the inflammatory times of the French Revolution and the Napoleonic Wars. My appreciation for Wilberforce, life, mission, and Christ have grown from this bio. I love that this was detailed account from great amount of research. Much of the account is from journals of Wilberforce and his peers.

Ever-trilling Classic

love revisiting this book that captured my imagination. Far more impacting in my older days as I consider the darkness on our doorstep and personal response. The narrator is great as he captures different characters and skillfully sings Tolkien's melodies. Audible offers a quick and effective way of getting this classic into my schedule. On to the next book in the series.
