A truly positive and uplifting read. Self-Reflections is a breath of fresh air for those who want to set aside the negativity rampant in our world. The writing also has the benefit of a good narrator, Dan Caringer, who seems to have a finger on the pulse of this work.
.
Ironically, the world does not have to push us so hard to condemn us; we often condemn ourselves. Self-hatred, self-devaluation, and our constant need for the approval of others are all that is needed to bring us down.
.
Self-reflection is an antidote to the negative. God's Word does tell us to focus on the good, acceptable, and perfect. Bringing positivity into everyday life is not only a good idea; it is refreshing.
.
Self-condemnation is self-defeating. We can truly walk with God once again, as Adam walked with God. All positive things have been, in Christ, restored to us. Take up the armor of god, and all the other weapons or tools God has promised to equip us with, and as long as your will is good, you aim, God's aim, will be perfect.

I have listened to this book on humilty several times and cannot get enough of it. The subject of humility is overlooked as a subject. So this book is a much needed book.

This book is great for bridging the gap between Christians who suffer mental illness and those trying to help the mentally ill. The theme of the mentally ill seeing only two doors to take in life., which contrasts with the three doors or paths available to most people, reveals much about the limited choices available to those who want only to give up on their lives.

The society and citizenship created and sustained in the novel Fletcher's Mill, has a refreshing aire about it. The story flows very quietly and rhythmically, from the hustle and bustle of real life centering around Fletcher's Mill. Fletcher's Mill, a place with grinding wheels, stone slabs, streams, and mill ponds. Fletcher's Mill draws a wholesome variety of peoples and cultures into its fray.

Old friends, new friends, the curious visitors, and, i hate to say, some very crude, distasteful types set on destruction.

Fletcher's Mill takes its time to build a purposeful , and plausible community. Deep within the complexities of this community beats the heart of a growing society. And, unfortunately, war.
