Nice Series
Revisado: 08-09-13
Really enjoyed listening to this audiobook. The story is nice and the narrator does a good job. Let's see if the following parts are as good as the start.

Historia
In little more than half a decade, Facebook has gone from a dorm-room novelty to a company with 500 million users. It is one of the fastest growing companies in history, an essential part of the social life not only of teenagers but hundreds of millions of adults worldwide. As Facebook spreads around the globe, it creates surprising effects, even becoming instrumental in political protests from Colombia to Iran.

Essential if you want to talk about Facebook
Revisado: 07-28-11
The author tells the whole story of Facebook, from the very beginning to the time the site became a web giant, from his perspective. Kirckpatrick seemed (pretends to be?) very close to some facebook figues, that guarantees some interesting insights, on the other side you might be right to assume that he's not the most objective person to be found to tell the story. But that's ok if you know it. You definitely might think different on the one or other thing you experienced in your "facebook life" (new features, change of privacy settings etc.) after having heard this book.
The author - well - is not the best narrator. Many times you just can hear how dry his mouth was from reading. But - if you're willing to - you easily can comp with that and enjoy the story because it's really interesting. Also recommend to watch the movie by David Finchers (again) after you finished the book.
