Bring back Steven Crossley!
Revisado: 04-02-22
I've got nothing against Kate Reading & Michael Kramer -- they are great in Wheel of Time, for example -- but the main characters in this story are LONDONERS!
Steven Crossley (narrator for Book 1) was excellent...and BRITISH! (and, ummm...he's still alive) Why the change!?!
Delilah Bard as a soft-voiced American...c'mon man!
Sadly, books 3+ are also narrated by this AMERICAN duo. I may be forced to buy the printed format.
I'd love to know what @VictoriaSchwab thinks of this.

I wish i could give it 6 stars...

Wonderful story from beginning to end. A book that you "can't put down" and that you'll long to pick back up again until you get to the last "page". Julia Whelan is such a great narrator. Her tone pulled me in to each moment, bringing to life one of the best stories I've listened to in a very long while.

Historia
It is not long before the survivors, outlaws, renegades, and carrion eaters start to gather, picking over the bones of the dead and fighting for the spoils of the soon-to-be dead. Now in the Seven Kingdoms, as the human crows assemble over a banquet of ashes, daring new plots and dangerous new alliances are formed, while surprising faces, some familiar, others only just appearing, are seen emerging from an ominous twilight of past struggles and chaos to take up the challenges ahead.

Sign the petition for a do-over with Roy
Revisado: 06-18-11
The people at Random house clearly do not listen or appreciate the audiobook experience. I will think twice before buying from them again. John Lee reads all characters as the same, mispronounces names, has a ridiculous cadence. But worse than that, it is just wrong to change readers for the 4rth book after 100+ hours with Roy Dotrice. Calls for a do-over. Sign the petition at PetitionOnline.

Esteemed professor emeritus F.E. Peters compares the similarities and differences in the dual searches for the historical Jesus and the historical Muhammad. These quests have been the focus of considerable effort since the lifetime of each of these venerated figures.

I was drawn to this after thoroughly enjoying Prof. Peters lectures on Chritianity, Judaism and Islam. Prof Peters' deep knowledge and casual delivery make for a structured, clear and entertaining lecture series. I hope there is more to come from him.
