Historia
Casey Fletcher, a recently widowed actress trying to escape a streak of bad press, has retreated to the peace and quiet of her family’s lake house in Vermont. Armed with a pair of binoculars and several bottles of bourbon, she passes the time watching Tom and Katherine Royce, the glamorous couple living in the house across the lake. They make for good viewing—a tech innovator, Tom is powerful; and a former model, Katherine is gorgeous.

Be Warned! Extremely Poor Choice for Narrator
Revisado: 12-17-22
The narrator sounds like their in late stages of life; I was shocked to find out the characters is 37 years old! I just cannot continue listening.

Historia
Duchess Day Radley is a 13-year-old self-proclaimed outlaw. Rules are for other people. She is the fierce protector of her five-year-old brother, Robin, and the parent to her mother, Star, a single mom incapable of taking care of herself, let alone her two kids. Walk has never left the coastal California town where he and Star grew up. He may have become the chief of police, but he’s still trying to heal the old wound of having given the testimony that sent his best friend, Vincent King, to prison decades before. And he's in overdrive protecting Duchess and her brother.

Out of all the books I’ve read Miss Duchess Day’s character is one of my favorite!
Revisado: 08-05-21
Miss Duchess’s character, I laughed often at her witty jokes and appreciated how wise she was beyond her 13 years. There were also unexpected twists at the end. Will definitely be recommending it to friends.

Historia
When Jeanine Hammond is found dead in a hotel in the picture-perfect town of Oakhurst, newly-promoted Detective Jo Fournier is thrown into a disturbing case. Who would murder this shy, loving wife and leave her body posed like a ballerina? Jo wants to know why Jeanine’s husband is so controlling about money, and where Jeanine’s wedding ring is, but before she and her team can get close to the truth, another woman is found strangled in a hotel, arms placed gracefully above her head like a dancer.

Really enjoyed this audible. The author did a great job, and the book really kept me gripped! My emotions were all over the place as she described traumatic situations in such detail. It usually takes me at least a week to finish an audible, this one took 2 days. Also, I never write reviews but this one is worth it!!!
