I really enjoyed this book!
I wish they would finally tie up the Architect issue soon. Based on a review of the next book it looks like I might get my wish

Ever wondered what Bones was thinking and feeling, when he and half-vampire Cat Crawfield first met? Or how their story might differ if he were the one telling it? Now, relive the beginning of Cat and Bones' best-selling love story through Bones' point of view, which reveals a darker, sexier take on their early days, as well as a deeper dive into Bones' past, the vampire world, and other things that Cat didn't see, when their story was told only through her eyes in Halfway to the Grave. Cat had her say. Now, it's Bones' turn.

He awakens encapsulated in dirt with no knowledge of how he came to be there. Riddled with injuries, he can remember neither his past nor who he is. Nor can he remember what he is. But surely no mortal man could survive being buried deep beneath the earth. All he knows with certainty is that the soothing voice and presence of the woman moving around above enables him to endure the agony of his wounds. And he will do whatever it takes to be with her.

Why spend over 7 HOURS on Stanislav??
Revisado: 03-17-19
Seth finally is written into the book with only One HOUR and One MINUTE left. I am glad that Stanislav is alive but quite frankly the story between him and Susan was boring. Too much time was spent on the amnesia and their inability to trust anyone. I fast forwarded thru a good portion of the book--that was the only thing that made it tolerable.
I am inclined to agree with a few other reviewers and believe Dianne Duvall would never deviate from her previous novels (which always encompass all the characters) and write such a crappy book. I hope we are wrong and this isn't a taste of what is to come because this book was both frustrating and disappointing as I kept waiting for the other characters to be brought into the storyline

Does the author hate Roger's charater?
Revisado: 01-21-19
She has emasculated from the beginning. He doesn't have any abilities to survive in the 18th century, not to mention he can't shoot and or hunt because of his eyesight This is crap, I have a lazy eye and I can hit a target. The only attribute the author credits him with is his ability to sing which Jamie can't appreciate but then the author goes and takes that one talent and his ability to speak correctly from him.
What I hate most is "Bratty Briana" (so another reader dubbed her) can do NOTHING WRONG! She is always perfect and is at home and deal with everything in the 18th century even though she has no more experience than poor Roger! Go figure she is just perfect! Actually she is a selfish bitch!
I have never written a negative review for one of Diana Gabaldon's books and I have read and listened to them so often that I know them by heart but I have gotten angrier every time I listened to this book. It was poorly written, it went into way too much detail about Boring Stuff and then she took Roger's one ability away! The bitch of his wife prevailed again. It must be nice to be perfect and do nothing wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Twenty Questions
Revisado: 11-22-15
Where does American Assassin rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Vince Flynn is one of my all time Favorite Authors and American Assassin is one of the BEST of the Series!!
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
Yes. This book is unique for the genre. It is not only Exciting it is also Amusing. The "Twenty Questions" section with Stan Hurley is down right Hysterical!
What about George Guidall’s performance did you like?
George Guidall's narration helps to make the book especially when portraying Stan Hurley
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
My husband and I laughed quite a bit! The Stan Hurley's "20 Questions" scene and when Rapp first meets Greta standout!
Several sections were very entertaining!
Any additional comments?
One of Vince Flynn's best books. My husband and I have listened to it a few times and we are listening to the entire series again in preparation for Flynn/Kyle Mills latest book. Kyle Mills is a decent author and has done a good job subbing for Robert Ludlum. We hope he honors Flynn's memory as well.
