Historia
In Merinac, Kansas, Chicken Mimi's and Chicken Frannie's have spent a century vying to serve up the best fried chicken in the state - and the legendary feud between their respective owners, the Moores and the Pogociellos, has lasted just as long. No one feels the impact more than 35-year-old widow Amanda Moore, who grew up working for her mom at Mimi's before scandalously marrying Frank Pogociello and changing sides to work at Frannie's. Tired of being caught in the middle, Amanda sends an SOS to Food Wars, the reality TV restaurant competition.

Too much reality show for me
Revisado: 03-21-21
I dislike reality shows because they thrive on being mean and encourage people to be mean. Even though these are my favorite narrators, I cannot stomach another minute of this book.

Too hard to follow
Revisado: 03-17-21
I like Jamie Harrison and find it hard to believe she wrote this. I feel lost in a sea of characters who mill abut aimlessly. I tried but am giving up on this one.

Why did I listen to so much of it?
Revisado: 02-12-20
It drags me down. Not interesting. Not good dialogue. Not good good characters. Very poorly written and the reader isn't very good either.

Quite good but fell apart at the end
Revisado: 07-12-19
I really liked it until close to the end. Then it seemed like a different book. The characters became erratic. Everything become unbelievable. Too bad.

Revisado: 07-07-19
The story is more than lame. It made me roll my eyes sometimes. But I really love Cassandra Campbell's reading. I think I could listen to her read the phone book.

The writing is sometimes amazing and then there are sections where it seems like it was written by someone else. Also, the reader is a little fast. Sounds much better at 85%.
