This series is one of my favorites. Narration was great as expected from these narrators. The recording however was horrible. The constant beeping was driving me mad. I ended up fast forwarding this one because the excessive beeping was too much for me.

Perfection

Finally, a mafia story that engages you from beginning to end and not just the small part they advertise. All the main and supporting characters were likeable. The FMC could definitely stand on her own! Strong woman who never allowed anyone to push her. Luciano was *chefs kiss* perfection as well. Overall a great story!

The narration was the icing on the cake of this story. Great job!

Cliffhanger

These characters are too immature and while I don't mind cliffhangers, a storyline that could've been resolved in one book is now getting stretched out and drug out. No thanks!

What a Rollercoaster!

This series and its characters will always have chockehokd on my heart. This book surpassedall my expectations and destroyed me completely. I need the next book, my heart can't take the not knowing! I swear I'm just like Rose right now!

Horrible FMC

The FMC was horrible, which ruined the story for me. She was selfish, and insecure with daddy/abandonment issues. She gets pregnant and avoids telling the father in every single interaction for almost the entire pregnancy. She even has sex with him again to avoid the subject. At every turn she talks herself out of telling him and then has the audacity to put it on him when he finds out about a month (by chance) before giving birth (again she still didn't want to tell him but had nowhere to run while in a hospital bed.) He has about 24 hours to come to terms with these news (not the almost 9 months she's had) and still jumps all in. Then after showing his commitment for a few months, being a good father and partner to her, a single comment of his thoughts in those 24 hours he had to acclimate to becoming a father and she's mad he thought this is not what he had planned for this moment in his life. We'll duh, it's an unplanned pregnancy and she was a one night stand. She once again overreacts and leaves him. Bottom line is that he deserved so much better. Even the bimbo Barbie would've been better, at least she wanted him. Who makes such a weak person a main character? Ugh what a waste of time and money! Also the animosity between him and her brother made no sense and it's never explained. The story was all over the place.

Good narration

The only good thing about this book was the beginning and the narration. FMC wants to be so tough but comes off as a spoiled high school girl throwing tantrums. But when the author really lost me was when she called the baby "they" and that's a NO for me. Grammar matters! Sick of authors trying be "cool" with pronouns and it's a total cringe fest. More than one baby = they. Otherwise say "the baby" if you don't want to assign gender. Lost this reader... bye!

This new version is so heartwarming with the bonus chapter. Rhodes, Aurora, and Ames are a dream! I loved everything about it and enjoyed the narration so much! It was excellent!

I loved Gracie and Alex! This was so different from Mariana's usual stories but OMG she still hit it out of the park. I can't wait to see what else she gives us in the future.

Repetitive

Different setting, same story. I didn't love this one like I did the first two books. There are too many American sayings for being a British woman and zero British sayings or even words. The only word used correctly was "holiday."

Love both narrators in every other book they've narrated, but I was extremely disappointed with this one because their "British" accent was way off. The woman especially was atrocious. How do you begin a sentence in watered down British and end it American? It was very distracting and took away what little enjoyment there was to be had.
