Undoubtedly one of the best books this year and straight to the top of my favorites!

I nearly didn’t give this one a chance. I wasn’t up for an unrelatable cliche “superstar meets some nobody, and they fall in love and live happily ever after” story, but then I saw a review raving about how good it was, and decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did. This book is right up there with Jen Lyon’s books for me. Between the endearing characters, the raw emotion, and enticing chemistry and slow burn, I couldn’t stop listening. The narrator did an incredible job. The characters came alive and her delivery during the emotional moments is perfection and brought so much depth. I loved everything about this book. Straight to the top of my favorites!

Wow. Amazing book. Amazing author. Every bit as good as the Senator’s Wife series. I’m not sure I’ve ever been as emotionally connected to characters before. Jen Lyon is a gifted author, and there simply isn’t a better narrator than Abby Craden, Easily one of my favorite listens.
