Well written, funny and brilliantly narrated story that sucked me in from the get go. The characters, though fictional are so relatable. It's a "what the doctor ordered" kind of book/listen. Thank you Lily Chu and Phillipa Soo.

Challenging and Good Training Advice

A book for this current era of sedentary lifestyle and processed foods in modern day developed culture. Sal wrote on what he constantly puts forward in their mind pump podcast discussions and packaged it into a guide that we can use to constantly reevaluate our lifestyle. As well as a challenge to move away from cardio-based to a resistance training approach for meaningful results.

An absorbing read/listen by Anchee Min

This read packed so much loss in a time of forced faith. A glimpse into the Cultural Revolution era in a Maoist China paints a raw picture of how life was a predicament even for young children. What impressed me was the characters varying drive and pursuit for acceptance and personal discovery. To "live" and love during such times was a gift that few could afford.

An Adventure Packed Story

This classic was a fun, adventurous and dreamy. The expert narration presented itself as a delightful theateresque production. The audiobook is so descriptive that it made up for my visual senses!

So-so Read of the Winston Series

This series seemed rushed, to the point of painting a picture of a detached Winston siblings. The book didn't bring out much of Roscoe, one can only hope that the opportunity will arise in the proceeding books. Nevertheless, Penny Reid hasn't lost her magic.

What a delightful literal treat!

Nathan Hill really knows how to write a gripping good story full of twists and turns. I enjoyed how the plot was not predictable and how the characters were meshed into the story. This was a literal treat packaged with humour, misfortunes, absurdities, complex human relations and much more...toppled with Ari Fliakos oratorical perfomance. Pure delight!

Could only tell this is a Cormac Reilley series after finishing the audio. I still enjoyed the turns and twists in the book.

Enjoyable

I loved the potrayed dimensions of the various characters and the complex relationships. I couldn't help getting drawned to the witty, humorous and obsessive thoughts and views of Ava (the protagonist).

On the other hand, I'm not sure if a male audience would enjoy it though.

From DNF to Indulgence

Almost pulled my hairs in frustration when I began reading this one to the point of literally throwing the book away. The Audio version was worth the redemption.
