Weak Heroine, and a cliffhanger

This storyline is totally unbelievable. A "good girl" her whole life, when her boyfriend cheats on her, the heroin runs away to Alaska and within 4 days is screwing her boss. And to top it off, it's a cliffhanger. No HEA. You have to go find the next book. Probably two or three. No thanks.

Misunderstandings, Mistakes, and Mayhem

I don't write reviews unless I really enjoy a book. This one had it all. A strong heroine, a hero that needs help and is strong enough to admit it, a tragedy, and healing. Along with a antagonist that is just awful enough to be someone you love to hate. But when our hero and heroine are forced together, they find that their teamwork is beneficial to everyone around them. Especially to a heartbroken 13 year old girl that needs them both. I love how this story flowed so smoothly. From the past and what happened then to cause these two to be antagonists, to the present and bringing them closer together bit by bit. This one touched me in a way many aren't able to do. I would recommend this one to any of my friends or family.

More Sweet than Sexy. Just like I like 'em

This book has a slow, but absolutely necessary start. It's all vital to the story line and is really very sweet. If you enjoy more story than sex in your romance, this is a great listen. There is a wonder plot that takes you from teenage angst to adult real world issues. And the general theme of how to deal with the death of a loved one, especially as a teenager, then as an adult, is poignant and beautiful. This is well worth the listen.

Story is good. Narration is annoying.

The story line here is good. A nice Whodunit mixed with the romance. But the narrator is so focused on pronouncing every letter of every word, that she actually seems to add syllables to words when she tries to put the hard "D" or "T" sound on some words. It's hard to explain, but it's annoying. It almost sounds like she's adding an "a" sound to some words. "She told-a him that ... " And when she does it, there's a small pause after that word. Her narration just doesn't flow naturally. It's almost as if she's working hard at covering an accent of some kind. It's bad enough that I won't finish listening to the book.

Finally found another great alien romance to love

Love this new alien romance. I think the narrator needs to find a female voice to use so there is a distinction between characters when listening to his voice. But the story line is wonderful, though predictable. I don't mind predictable.

I loved these characters and their struggles. This story was well written with excellent balance and a wonderful plot that didn't get lost in too much sex. Just enough. Thank you for a fun story and a spectacular happily ever after.
