Cartoonish Narration
Revisado: 03-19-24
The narration was often times so over the top, it was comical. The story itself was mediocre. The story was also over the top. My least favorite agent Zero book

When Layla Saad began an Instagram challenge called #meandwhitesupremacy, she never predicted it would spread as widely as it did. She encouraged people to own up and share their racist behaviors, big and small. She was looking for truth, and she got it. Thousands of people participated in the challenge, and over 90,000 people downloaded the Me and White Supremacy Workbook.

Almost A Complete Waste Of Time
Revisado: 12-17-22
It is hard to take someone seriously who lives in Qatar and talks of it being a wonderful place. The country that used modern day slavery to construct the venues for the World Cup. The country that treats women so poorly. It is hard to take someone seriously who says such things as, "White people should pay black people for cultural misappropriation if they try to get tanned, get lip injections or get butt enhancement." She says if you marry a black person, you did it to try to act like you are not racist. If you did not marry a black person, that is because you are racist. Basically, she takes both sides of every discussion to say white people are horrible, no matter what they do. White people are responsible for many bad things, not every bad thing. She is trying to get rich by playing to white people who feel tremendous guilt and want to support every extremist such as Layla Saad, in an effort to prove something that they can never prove. Ms. Saad makes it very clear that no white person will ever be able to do enough to make her happy. She is happiest when she turns a blind eye to the atrocities in her own country and focuses on making herself feel better by attacking all white people. I want to make the world a better place and will keep working to help black people and other minorities gain equality. This book did very little to help me move further in that direction

Historia
In the stirring, highly anticipated first volume of his presidential memoirs, Barack Obama tells the story of his improbable odyssey from young man searching for his identity to leader of the free world, describing in strikingly personal detail both his political education and the landmark moments of the first term of his historic presidency - a time of dramatic transformation and turmoil.

Not as insightful as hoped
Revisado: 03-01-21
I hoped this book would mostly give insight about becoming and being the President. Instead, I learned this is only Part 1 and it is 29 hours long. It is 27 hours of President Obama telling us how he is always the smartest person in every room and two hours of insight regarding his time as President. I hoped to see a more human side of the President and this only came through in small amounts. I hoped to get his insight into some of the controversy surrounding his presidency, but he almost exclusively tackled the areas of success. Certain subjects were skipped entirely, such as the fast and furious scandal and why he kept telling us we could keep our doctor and our insurance, that the Republicans were lying, when in fact he knew he was lying. I was neutral on President Obama before this book and bought it because I was certain it would make me a fan, but no such luck.

Worst book ever
Revisado: 09-20-18
I have been doing rental property for ten years. I am self taught and decided to try a few of the cheap rental property books. I thought I could not go wrong. Surely for $3 I can get some value. I was completely wrong. Joe Bronski gives a few general cookie cutter thoughts, but there is almost no substance. I would not be surprised if he did not actually own rentals.
