This is a book. I need to reread at least once a year.

Why do I love thee let me count the ways:

It’s allowing me to reframe every thought I have that’s limited by my current self-worth

It paints the clearest picture of why going big is easier than playing small

It reframes my past into my superpower (and full of 10X Jumps vs something limiting me)

It’s so expansive for my thoughts.

It teaches how to want what you want, how to work in your unique ability, how to measure backwards… and so much more!!!

I typically classify books as "entry level" or "advanced" in the entrepreneurial space (helps me know what to recommend to who after I've finished reading a book.) Before I read this book, I assumed this book was just for beginners, but boy was I wrong... it's for EVERYONE! I've read a lot of books aimed at entrepreneurs and this one caught me by surprise and uncovered something HUGELY VALUABLE for me that I unexpectedly had not yet figured out... MY PURPOSE IN LIFE!!!!!!!!!! I'm not going to give away the spoilers, but I'll leave you with this... the journaling prompts at the beginning are a must do. (And then you might get so excited (like me) and start asking all your family members and clients and colleagues to work the journal prompts too!

I LOVE Buy Back Your Time. Dan's system for standard operating procedure creation is excellent and his conversation on leadership helped me think more expansively. It's the book I recommend the most to my high-level clients so that they can, as Dan says "get unstuck, and reclaim their freedom."

I loved every minute of reading Amy’s book. This is a must read for anyone who knows they're meant for more and feels like they haven't yet tapped into who they really are. Start here. You won’t regret it.

I especially loved Amy’s stories about meeting personal development, life buckets, connecting with cultures through travel, modeling living our best lives for our children, adventure, the messy middle, and money mindset.

This book has some super tactical takeaways like the “Mom and Dad staycation” to plan the year ahead, how to use speaking at events in service of doing more good in the world, defining how you help by creating processes and systems, and how to take the first steps in courage towards the dreams you want to make come true.

I think most of all, I love this book because it’s all about nurturing a possibility mindset and allowing that to guide you through celebrating all the wins to learning from the mistakes and growing into the best version of YOU.

Excellent framework in here for managing through, and even thriving in, change.

My favorite nuggets of wisdom:

1. Why and how to overcome nostalgia
2. How to extract ourselves from our limitations
3. “What is this hour for?” “There may never be time for everything. But I came to realize there’s always time for plenty.
4. How to identify if I have a problem or an opportunity by asking 3x “But really?”
5. “Sameness is forgettable.” (If you ask me, I’m all for new experiences for the win, all day every day!)

Thank YOU Jason!!!

I think Rory achieved the impossible with this book. He managed to put a bow on all the most important personal development concepts and deliver them in the form of his easy to read book, full of great stories and valuable lessons.

I especially loved the conversations around activating all the senses to create more vivid visions of our goals, of harvest season discipline, of making decisions from the perspective of faith, and of creating a personal scorecard.

And honorable mention goes to one of my favorite lessons in the book… always lock the door!

Thank YOU Rory!
