Historia
Stripped of armor, might, and memory, the legendary Forerunner warrior known as the Didact was torn from the physical world following his destructive confrontation with the Master Chief and sent reeling into the mysterious depths of a seemingly endless desert wasteland. This once powerful and terrifying figure is now a shadow of his former self—gaunt, broken, desiccated, and alone. But this wasteland is not as barren as it seems. A blue light glints from a thin spire in the far distance.

didact is back... again..
Revisado: 04-14-24
(SPOILERS AHEAD)
first off, good job to the speaker and probably the writer.
my issues:
the didact is back for the 3rd+ time, and gone, permanently? his rapid decorruption felt contrived. having no desire to help the galaxy any more is out of character for both the corrupted and uncorrupted didact.
the warden, like most 343 villains was killed off unceremoniously by a dark blade star wars knock off. honestly, the warden was silly back in 2012 but it's annoying that another villain is gone only in the books.
we get teased with cortana talking about "MuCh WoRsE tHaN tHe fLoOd" again and the only explanation we get this time is "it's above your paygrade". granted I suspect this is 343s fault, again, the writer is probably confined to parameters.
cortanas send off is pretty much "and the didact didn't see her again, who knows why"
we get no interaction between cortana and "the weapon" even though that would be great.
no further threat of the flood (thanks to 343 wanting China money and China censoring gore/m rating/flood)

Historia
Scott Galloway teaches brand strategy at NYU's Stern School of Business, but his most popular lectures deal with life strategy, not business. The Algebra of Happiness: Notes on the Pursuit of Success, Love, and Meaning draws on Professor Galloway's mix of anecdotes and no-BS insight to share hard-won wisdom about life's challenges, along with poignant personal stories.

hypocritical liberal professor
Revisado: 11-21-22
in one chapter this professor brags about when he was a student he was lazy and literally had to beg 3+ teachers to change his F to a D out of pity. he also mentions how he lies on his resumes and got several free ride pity state scholarships for being poor.
in the next chapter he brags about kicking a student out of class for being late to a lecture on day 1, then sending his entire class the email to bully said student.
this guy's ego is in need of a serious check.

sexist and useless
Revisado: 11-21-22
the entire book is tales of a short self conscious woman in fields she's not ready for.
during one part she says white men are the most dangerous and black men are the most oppressed (in a chapter about threat identification shouldn't you mention black men commit over 50% of homicides)
3 hours in the only "tactical" concepts you will get is: know the entry/ exit points and "don't sit with your back against a crowd" the obvious day 1 training stuff.
the writer never finished police academy and wasn't a special agent as much as a translator which is very different.
in one chapter she brags about getting her butt kicked in a fight by a Chinese man because "she's okay with losing a fight" all while losing control of a door leading to the president. congratulations you lost the fight and led to the president being susceptible.
if you are a man or a woman with any amount of military knowledge training etc then this book will only waste your time.
