Great story that has you thinking, hmmmmm.... maybe not too far off from present times. Superb narration makes this so easy to get sucked into the story.
Can't wait until part 2....

A whole other world

Taking place in Dublin, you can almost smell the filth,grime and .....pigs. Gangs, cops,prostitutes, elite, all part of this great mystery that is the Dolocher.
The narrater transforms you into this dark,dank time in history where superstition and the terror of murder takes hold of an entire city.
Take a journey into the twist and turns and another world to try to solve the mystery of the Dolocher.
Great book!

Get swept away into a different type of a world. Tired of the same ol same ol? Really looking for a reluctant hero with a snarky sidekick? How about a little other world action???
Step onto the grit and grime of New London, where you will follow Kal and his familiar through battles,monsters and magic. A little bit of blood letting too (really is that so bad?).
Into the other world of the fae, so magical and well, full of mayhem and ..... opportunity?
Fighting the real monsters and standing up for what is right! The last book will leave you like... What???!!!!! When is the next one
Greg Patmore (of course) paints a one of a kind picture, where you can chew the dirt, taste the blood and feel the battles,,battles, and defeat. Masterful performance!

So, who's ready for an advemture?????

What a great series!

I cannot say enough about this series! great continuation from the first book. I happily followed along with Nadine through her journey to become a dragon Whisperer. the writing weaves in intricate picture in your mind and endears you to all of the characters. even makes you a bit nauseous when introduced to other characters in the book. I know King Roald off is the threat, would like to see him more developed and vile. I am also very interested to see if anything happens to Friar wa tt in the next book, that is a very intriguing subplot.
Overall, generation is superb. I love her calmness when we need calm, There is a good definition between characters.
I absolutely cannot wait for the next book to see what happens!
Is truly, if you love something that is cleanly written with well developed characters and a great storyline, this series is it! I love it!

What a fun book!

this is a great story gear towards young adults and preteens period the characters are very relatable and believable. The storyline develops very nicely, and should be a very fun read for the younger generation. I absolutely loved that there were recipes in this book with the main characters take on how to cook them! I am very interested in seeing what happened in the next book, as we struggled through the trials and tribulations with the main character in this buck.
I love the narrator in this book. She did a wonderful job relaying age and quirkiness of the characters in this book. this was so much fun to listen to! you really don't want to miss out on this one!

This is a great story. The interlacing of character flowed so very well! Very multilayered and engaging!!!
The backstory give you a great perspective into the characters life and behavior.
I don't know how... but even the villians make you a bit empathetic for them.
Narration was top notch! Drawn you in and holds you for the duration.
The story. ending makes you say"awe- what the heck... where's the next book"
Good book! Give it a try!!!!!

what a fun series of books! mystery stories with a supernatural being. you're going to love this wacky group of characters and their mishaps! very well written, it hold me in almost immediately. you do fall in love with the characters oh, and the story is very easy to get engrossed in. Ashley music does a good job at narrating the series up books, getting life to the story that made it easy to imagine and envision what was going on. You are definitely not going to regret listening to these books!

Draws you in from the very beginning!

I was wonderfully surprised with this book! the storyline was very enticing, and the characters were easy to like and identify with. the author does a wonderful job at painting a picture of the realm. the storyline weaved intricacies that I did not expect, with a detail that allowed your imagination to go wild!
The narrator of this book was a notch above! he did a wonderful job at translating this wonderful work. the characters were very definable, and he put a lot of emotion into his narration.
if you are in the game for an old school style adventure, with heroes and villains, kingdoms and magic, then this book is for you!

Haley Reese Chow does a pretty good job creating an alternative universe that is truly out of the ordinary. She does a very good job describing the inner working of this other world and immerses you in their culture. The main character is believable and somewhat annoying at times but rings true given his age. Good depth to the storyline and gives enough of a background so you are not lost.
The narrarator does an ok job. His punctuation is really good, just hoped he could help differentiate the characters a bit better.
I did like this book... and would like a book 2.

Ren Ryder paints a coloful picture of the other world and it's characters. Loved the development of the main character and his relationships. Truly held me all the way through.
Greg Patmore does a top notch job as always narraratong the great work of fiction and makes the characters real. and snares you right on.
Definitely worth the purchase! Cannot wait for book 3!
