Revisado: 10-28-24
this was the end of the kagen the damned series, it was alittle bitter suite but was an amazing ride l. the author was a bit wordy on this one in places but I feel like we got a great resolution to the story.

Historia
It was a glittering event full of A-listers, hosted by Eliza Lane and Brant Fitzhugh, a celebrity couple who’d conquered both Hollywood and Broadway. And now Eve Dallas has made her entrance—but not as a guest. After raising a toast, Fitzhugh fell to the floor and died, with physical symptoms pointing to cyanide, and the police have crashed the party. From all accounts, he wasn’t the kind of star who made enemies. Everyone loved him—even his ex-wife. And since the champagne cocktail that killed him was originally intended for Eliza, it’s possible she was the real target.

A Riveting Ride into Mystery and Suspense!
Revisado: 08-13-23
Nora Roberts, writing under her pseudonym J.D. Robb, has once again gifted the literary world with a masterpiece in the "In Death" series: "Encore in Death". This electrifying installment reaffirms why the Eve Dallas novels are such a sensation!
In "Encore in Death", Robb crafts an intricate narrative filled with unexpected twists and breathtaking suspense. Eve Dallas, our intrepid and ever-evolving protagonist, is thrust into the glamorous but treacherous world of opera, where passion meets peril. When the curtain falls, and the lights go out, the intrigue begins.
Robb's portrayal of the future New York City, with its gleaming skyscrapers and darker alleys, is as vivid as ever. You can almost hear the hum of flying cars overhead and feel the pulse of the neon lights. But it's not just the setting that captivates; it's the depth of the characters. Eve's fierce determination, juxtaposed with her vulnerabilities and haunting past, makes her more relatable than ever. Her dynamic with Roarke continues to sizzle, providing both tension and tenderness that fans have come to adore.
What truly sets "Encore in Death" apart is Robb's impeccable ability to weave the opulence of the opera with the gritty reality of crime. The murder mystery at the heart of this story is layered, intricate, and, most importantly, surprising. Just when you think you've figured it all out, Robb masterfully pulls the rug from underneath, leaving you gasping and hungry for more.
In addition to the gripping main plot, "Encore in Death" touches upon themes of love, betrayal, ambition, and the lengths one would go to protect a secret. The secondary characters, from the prima donna to the stagehand, are fleshed out and play pivotal roles in the unraveling of the mystery.
In conclusion, "Encore in Death" is not just a novel; it's an experience. It's a thrilling roller-coaster that takes you through the highs and lows of human emotion, against a backdrop of murder and music. Whether you're a die-hard fan of the series or a newcomer, this book promises a spellbinding read that you won't soon forget. Curtain up on your next favorite book! 🎭🔍🌟

To many threads for a reacher story.
Revisado: 12-02-22
Let me start out by saying that I love Jack Reacher novels I have listened to and or read every single novel that Jack Reacher has appeared in. this novel was a struggle though. I see what the author was trying to do but it failed. I don't know if the author is trying to pass the torch on to his son or just enjoys writing a novel with his son but it's not near as good when he did on his own. spoiler alerts ahead !!. threads was too wordy like they were trying to fill a quota for words instead of story progression to be honest the the kids threat in the novel didn't even need to be there and the subplot for the Revenge story was muddy at best the characters weren't developed enough for me to really care about that aspect of the subplot . you can definitely tell where some parts of the story were written by the father and other ones wer written by the Son. this is definitely not one of Reacher's really big explosive Adventures. This whole story could have been a novella., I look forward to the next novel I hope it's a little bit better than this one.

Revisado: 02-18-22
C, T Phipps is killing it in life and in the written word. If you like Puns, bad humor, and all-around tomfoolery then you will love this series. With its madcap antics and the amazing cast of characters, Phipps paints a rich albeit sometimes insane world. Gary Karkofsky AKA merciless the villain without mercy is an anti-hero with a penchant for bad puns, pop culture references, and all-around hilarity. the supporting cast to Gary's league of supervillains is also perfect for this book. if you like humor and superheroes this is your jam. Sometimes we just want to watch the world burn and brother this is it. The story is excellent his world-building is great and the narration is superb. I give it ten out of ten Scott bakula's.

Historia
What if all the villains of slasher movies were real? What if the movies made about them were just adaptations of real-life killers with supernatural powers? This is a fact known to William and Carrie because their father, Billy the Undying, was one of the worst slashers of all time. So much so that they've spent the past decade in an asylum out of fear they'd end up just like him. Escaping, the two have decided to form a new life on the road. Except, a chance encounter in a dingy diner introduces William to the girl of his dreams.

Humor, heart, murder and a little smidge of gore !
Revisado: 02-03-21
C.T Phipps Does it again! So let me start out by saying C.T. is one of my favorite authors not only because he is an awesome human being, but his twisted sense of humor who borders on insane is almost as bad as my own. C.T takes a weird subject matter and builds an entire world around it giving us characters that pop off the page and take stab at our own shortcomings and idiosyncrasies. "Pun intended". The universe he has created for his characters is darkly humorous and never boring, His laughs and horror are perfectly timed in this thrill kill escapade chock full of pop culture referenced and self-deprecating humor. So if you have a few hours to Kill! lol, I wholeheartedly recommend this new entry in the work and world of C.T Phipps.
