I read this over 20 years ago. Yet listening to this unabridged version spoken by Sidney Poitier himself is if I never read it before. It’s like going into experiencing Technicolor for the first time. Truly one of the best books I’ve ever heard. I hope everyone can experience this amazing life story and thoughts. Thank you Mr. Poitier!

Trying not to sound like a cliche, but this audiobook has CHANGED MY LIFE because it CHANGED MY MINDSET! The author is so relatable. Her humor made a somewhat hard topic for many people like me easy to digest. And I LOVE how she repeats the tips over like she states, because I need the repetition to help me “remember” the skills for this new way of life. Seriously I could just cry because of how much I loved this audiobook. It has helped my entire family so much to be able to live a life free from constant clutter. In fact, for more repetition, I’m going to listen again. Thank you!

This book proves you can’t prejudge a book or person by the cover. Tiffany you are fearless. It took a lot of heart to put it all out there. Only God can judge you, like Tupac once said.
