Historia
One of the most successful coaches in NBA history, Chicago Bulls head coach Phil Jackson provides an inside look at the higher wisdom of teamwork with Sacred Hoops. A new paradigm of leadership based on Eastern and Native American principles, Jackson's approach flies in the face of the egoistic, winner-take-all attitude that has changed the face of American sports.

Historia
A man of deep passion and intensity, George Karl earned his bad boy reputation while playing at the University of North Carolina, a rap that continued through the five years he spent with the San Antonio Spurs - and long after he stopped playing. Karl's beery nights, fistfights, and barking followed him into a 35-year coaching career. In a game defined by big stakes and bigger egos, rabid fans and an unforgiving media, Karl was hired and fired a dozen times.

Just a get even story with little facts...replaced by anger and backstabbing by George Karl. Not worth reading.

Historia
The world knows Lamar Odom as a two-time NBA world champion who rocketed to uncharted heights of fame thanks to being a member of both the storied Los Angeles Lakers and the ubiquitous Kardashian empire. But who is Lamar, really? Fans have long praised his accessibility and genuine everyman quality - he is a blinding talent who has suffered a series of heartaches, setback, and loss.

Sad and encouraging book.

A interesting story but the accountability was lacking throughout the reading as so much was brushed over.

Historia
Anna Kendrick's autobiographical collection of essays amusingly recounts memorable moments throughout her life, from her middle-class upbringing in New England to the blockbuster movies that have made her one of Hollywood's most popular actresses today. Expanding upon the witty and ironic dispatches for which she is known, Anna Kendrick's essays offer her one-of-a-kind commentary on the absurdities she's experienced on her way to and from the heart of pop culture.

Great book to get and have a laugh without booze!
Revisado: 04-18-18
Large personality in such a shorty that can hang with the big dogs any day of the week! Two personalities maybe three at once telling a story but she needs to continue this journal with more of the inner Kendrick as she only scratched the surface as she has more in the vault that can be twisted into her great humor. Now go download this book as she will donate her book money to preserving unicorns from extinction and the bacon shortage we face everyday. 😉

Historia
The record-holding two-time National Basketball Association champion reflects on his work ethic, his on-the-court friendships and rivalries, the great teams he's played for, and what it takes to have a long and successful career in this thoughtful, in-depth memoir. Playing in the NBA for 18 years, Ray Allen won championships with the Boston Celtics and the Miami Heat and entered the record books as the original king of the three-point shot. Known as one of the hardest-working and highest-achieving players in NBA history, he was legendary for his sharp shooting.

Great insight of a player's journey #blameothers😒
Revisado: 04-12-18
I always respected and enjoyed to see Ray play. It's unfortunate he always pointed his finger at others through the entire book and he felt he was the victim so many times. It became a record playing over and over. No doubt ray got the short end of the stick too many times but come on you won two rings, let it go. He shows a pattern of avoiding confrontation and acting the part he was never guilty. I am glad he wrote a book and one worth reading but I was so surprised how he handle difficult situations with people.
