Such a great start to what is sure to be a fun series. I’ve already purchased the second book. Narration was spot on. The story of adventure and destined love was beautiful.

What A Great Book!

I was uncertain about getting this book for two reasons:
1) It’s not my kink.
2) The reviews I read were split. Either the reader loved it or the reader hated it, with little in between.
The unique story summary and fascinating reader responses to the book are why I decided to give it a chance.

I found myself enjoying this book immensely. I’m the kind of person who loves experiencing the emotions of the characters, the building of a bond between them. I love being able to peek into the minds of the characters. If you’re a person who hates having to sit through listening to a character’s thought process and chaotic emotions, then this might not be the book for you.

I also like that science fiction books allow an author the ability to dream up whatever technology they want in order to do anything they want. This author is new to me, and I was not disappointed in their creativity. However, if you aren’t interested in delving into how the advanced science and technology works in a new universe, then this might not be the book for you.

Even though it is not my kink, I still found connection and passion in the sex scenes. If you are someone who doesn’t keep an open mind for atypical sexual experiences, then this is not the book for you.

If you’ve read what I’ve had to say and are still interested, then I wholeheartedly recommend this book. I’m glad I read it and hope you will be to.

Not Disappointed

Given how much I liked the first book, I was worried my expectations were too high going into this book. However, I was not disappointed. This book gave me everything and more. Definitely read the first book in the series first, so you get context for the world and characters. I love this book and highly recommend it!

Happy and Hooked

Loved Nicky’s Trial of Fears series, so I thought I’d give this new series a try. Goodness, am I happy I did! I’m hooked!! I love the slow, natural development of the MC’s relationship and I can’t wait for more. I’d definitely recommend this book, you won’t regret it.

Wishing for More

I loved the odd pairing; Cornelius and Matthew made an extremely cute couple. However, I found myself wanting more story or depth or something? It had a great idea and backbone, I just wished for more.

Michael Ferraiuolo has to be my favorite narrator. His range of voices and emotion always enhance every reading experience. He knocked it out of the park narrating this novel.

Perfect Holiday Treat

This was everything I ever wanted in a Christmas romance. All of the small moments added up to a true heart warming story. Loved that the characters were able to see each other’s hurts and imperfections, and understand that it’s those imperfections that make us truly perfect. I will likely reread this every year to experience the joys over and over again.

Beautiful Story of Found Family

In the first few chapters I was unsure if I would like this book, but then it hit its stride and I fell in love. It’s written beautifully, with colorful and caring characters. It’s low angst, too. The best part though, is that it was narrated by Michael Ferraiuolo. Michael’s soothing and exemplary character voices help you navigate though the story with ease. If you are still unsure of whether or not you want to shell out the credit for this book, let me help you. Get it; it’s totally worth it!
