Historia
In this stand-alone fairy tale, Princess Annie is the younger sister to Gwen, the princess destined to be Sleeping Beauty. When Gwennie pricks her finger and the whole castle falls asleep, only Annie is awake, and only Annie-blessed (or cursed?) with being impervious to magic - can venture out beyond the rose-covered hedge for help. She must find Gwen's true love to kiss her awake. But who is her true love? The irritating Digby? The happy-go-lucky Prince Andreas, who is holding a contest to find his bride?

Better Than Expected
Revisado: 12-26-16
Would you consider the audio edition of The Wide-Awake Princess to be better than the print version?
I would have to say that the printed version doesn't do the book enough justice. When I listened to the novel I felt so moved.
What other book might you compare The Wide-Awake Princess to and why?
I would compare this novel to other princess related fairy tale mess ups like the Princess Academy Series (not on audiobooks). I have to say I love it when authors put their own twist on novels.
Have you listened to any of Emily Bauer’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I have to say this is just as good as the next book in the series, which I listened to as well. She is simply amazing.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I though it was absolutely amazing. As soon as it ended I bought the second book and I kept on with the series. I absolutely love the series.
Any additional comments?
I would give this a 10 out of 10.

Historia
Dear Diary... Who knew a sports field could cause so much drama? That's what Bess, George, and I are investigating. Ever since George's cousin, Carrie Kim, announced her candidacy for city council, along with her platform of building a new football field and a state-of-the-art sports complex, someone has been trying to sabotage the campaign! I think the Green Club may be behind this. I understand being concerned about the environment, but someone is taking it too far.

Love The Story
What did you like best about this story?
I really just love the plot line of the story. I think its really great that we actually get to explore two other new aspects of the "Percy Jackson" series that we haven't explored before, the first one being the fact that we can explore tartarus that has been previously mentioned a few times and the second being the Mist. I really love the fact that we bring back some of Percy's old enemies... speaking of enemies I can't believe we also come back to an old character who I loved.
What does Nick Chamian bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I think he really does Leo's voice really well.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I though I was going to cry at the end. Bob... he is a character that took my heart. I really want to see Bob in another novel.
Any additional comments?
I think he does an alright job, I really do enjoy his Leo voice, he's also alright with Frank. I must admit I think he's a bit weak at the girl's voices. I think Annabeth is a rather weak voice which bothered me the first time around but not so much anymore.

Historia
After a summer spent trying to prevent a catastrophic war among the Greek gods, Percy Jackson finds his seventh-grade school year unnervingly quiet. His biggest problem is dealing with his new friend, Tyson, a six-foot-three, mentally challenged homeless kid who follows Percy everywhere, making it hard for Percy to have any "normal" friends.

An almost child's version of The Odyssey
Revisado: 08-26-16
What did you love best about The Sea of Monsters?
I have always enjoyed the book the odyssey and when I read this book it reminded me of a modern day one. I love the fact that we get to learn more about annabeth and her background. We haven't learned too much about her with the first novel but it was great to learn more.
What did you like best about this story?
I love how the entire book has a lot of the islands visited on the odyssey journey. I think that the way that Mr. Riordan made it was simply amazing. It was so humorous and entertaining.
What does Jesse Bernstein bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Jesse Bernstein is simply as I must state it the voice of Percy Jackson. He is my favorite out of all of the narrators for Percy. I'm getting more use to annabeth's voice but I love his Percy voice. Tyson is done great as well. I really get the feel of Tyson when he does the voice as well.
Any additional comments?
The difference between reading it and listening to it is amazing. I'm sure that any if not most percy jackson fans would enjoy listening to this.

Historia
Twelve-year-old Percy Jackson is about to be kicked out of boarding school...again. No matter how hard he tries, he can't seem to stay out of trouble. But can he really be expected to stand by and watch while a bully picks on his scrawny best friend? Or not defend himself against his pre-algebra teacher when she turns into a monster and tries to kill him? Of course, no one believes Percy about the monster incident; he's not even sure he believes himself.

Can't get a better beginning
Revisado: 08-26-16
What did you love best about The Lightning Thief?
I love this whole demi-god theory. I was looking for something different after the Harry Potter series ends and I must say that Percy Jackson is a runner up for all of you Potter fans.
The humor is wonderful and light and the narrator is the best.
What did you like best about this story?
I simply loved it all. The humor was rather childish and silly but it made me laugh. The plot line was great and full of details.
What about Jesse Bernstein’s performance did you like?
I feel like he really is the voice of Percy Jackson (main character) I can't imagine anyone else doing Percy right.
He also does an amazing Grover and Annabeth took a little to get use to but I think she is great.
Any additional comments?
I really think anyone who loved greek mythology would enjoy this series. I love the start and when I got to the end... I had to get the second one.
