Historia
Tinker Murtagh thinks his new job is simple, but he's never robbed a medical clinic before - and he's never dealt with someone like Dr. Henry Van Deman. In Fresh Frozen by Darden North, a childless young policeman and his desperate, infertile wife meet Lucille Wax and her sales catalogue of human embryo and egg donors. Suddenly their Mississippi community faces grisly murder, the world of Hollywood celebrity, and a physician with a hidden agenda.

A fascination story of deception and suspense
Revisado: 04-05-16
What made the experience of listening to Fresh Frozen the most enjoyable?
A fascinating tale of intrigue and deception surrounding the "Business" of invitro fertilization. I have read (listened to the audio book) other books by this author and he deftly weaves the tales of various characters whose lives unwittingly intersect with one another. This audio book was a great companion on my latest road trip!

Historia
Small southern towns are not always sleepy—particularly in Larkspur, Mississippi, where homes burst into flames and lives crumble. It is the suspicious death of a young woman that costs premiere plastic surgeon Dan Foxworth his surgical dynasty, his life, and that of his wife. Devastated by the loss of both parents and unable to meet a bitter grandfather's expectations, Sher Foxworth tries to save an elderly woman from her burning home. Suddenly the accidental hero, his life is turned upside down by disturbing twists of fate.

Not what I expected
Revisado: 07-03-14
Would you listen to Points of Origin again? Why?
Yes the intricate story the author weaves is filled with subtle twists and turns that a second listening would undoubtedly uncover more details.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Points of Origin?
There were several scenes with Sher and his Grandad that were particularly moving, but the story of his parents leading to their stayed with me.
What does Fred Wolinsky bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Although the southern accent was a little heavy in my opinion Fred did a great job of putting just the right amount of emotion and depth into each character.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I think this book would best be consumed in a single sitting. A car ride or other situation where you can listen without distraction.
Any additional comments?
Without giving anything way this is a storing of the collision of several lives. The author spends the first few chapters setting in motion the events that propel the rest of the book. I wasn't sure where he was going at first but once the story took shape it was hard to stop listening.

Historia
Loving yourself is all about energy. As humans we devote a great deal of our energy through our time, thoughts and emotions to love. We read about it, watch movies and shows about it, dream about it, hope for it to bless our lives, feel like something critically important is lacking when it doesn't, and at the very least keep a sharp eye out for it when its missing. Too often we look to someone else to fulfill our love and crash and burn when relationships end, or fail to live up to our fantasies of what we thought they should be.

positive message
Revisado: 01-08-14
Would you consider the audio edition of Love Yourself to be better than the print version?
I have not read the print version
What did you like best about this story?
Although it was not groundbreaking even those of us who understand these concepts can benefit from the positive reminder of the lessons in this book.
What about John Eastman’s performance did you like?
It was very professional the only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 was that for the topic it was a little too much like an announcer than a coach.
What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?
The most important message is that you are responsible for your own happiness in life and if you look to others for that and let them define you get ready for the roller coaster
