Odd little story

I very much liked the narrator, and thought she did an admirable job.
I was not at all sure about the storyline when I first started listening, however, it did pull me in enough to want to continue with it to find out what would happen.
I found Thea to be quite a complex and quirky character. Sometimes I could empathize with her, and other times I was impatient with her.
I found myself quite disappointed in the book's ending. it didn't so much end, with resolution, as just sort of fade off...

Another Amazing Book!

Having read Kerry's previous book, I couldn't wait to read (listen to) this one. I also follow Max 's Facebook page, and have for several years, so I pretty much knew the story. The story is so well written and the narrator is absolutely wonderful! Don't read it without a good supply of tissues, though! ❤️❤️❤️🐾

Terrible Narration

I will start out by saying that I love all of the rest of Tricia O'Malley's books. She is one of my favorite authors. However, I am not particularly enjoying this new series, mostly due to the narration. The female narrator in particular, has a very annoying breathy voice and does a terrible job of narrating any men's voices. I haven't checked yet, but if they are going to be the narrators for the rest of the series, I will be stopping here with this book. It's really very disappointing to me because, as I have stated, Tricia is one of my favorite authors.

I bought this collection of stories for the one by Molly Harper, who is one of my favorite authors, however, I ended up enjoying all of the stories. The story lines were good and Amanda. Ronconi is an awesome narrator.

It's not often that I don't finish a book that I've started, but I could not finish this one. Lame story, terrible narration. The narrator sounds like she should be trying to read a 2-year-old to sleep. I had to increase the speed to even get as far as I did. Very disappointed.
