The timeline of multiple historical events.

While at times the book jumps from one event to another the author made it easy in my opinion to keep up with the timeline and action even while I’m driving to work or home. Some may not like the repeating of some information but I found it helpful during those drives to remind me of something that was said a few chapters earlier.

Took me a while to get over narration

I liked the book and the information provided. Some of it was things I’ve heard before but I thought the way the information was presented was often unique. The narrator at the start struck me as “shrill” but as I listened I guess I got used to it.
