This book is charming, entertaining, and a perfect choice for listening. It is a book along the same lines as The Mitford Series and the James Herriot stories. I can only hope there will be more!

There was nothing "gripping" about this book. The story line was predictable and the characters were lifeless. A good book to read if you really don't want to have to pay much attention.

I listened to this book in 2 days. I couldn't do anything else until I finished it. You won't be able to put it down. The characters are real and the story line covers stalking which is a contemporary fear. But the story is warm and caring with enough twists to keep you on your toes. It's so good that there's no need for long descriptions of violence, gore or sex. A wonderful love story; person to person and person to pet.
