Historia
In 3001: The Final Odyssey, Arthur C. Clarke brings the greatest and most successful science fiction series of all time to its magnificent, stunningly unforeseen conclusion. As we hurtle toward the new millennium in real time, Clarke brilliantly - daringly - leaps 1,000 years into the future to reveal a truth we are only now capable of comprehending. An epic masterpiece at once dazzlingly imaginative and grounded in scientific actuality, 3001 is a story that only Arthur C. Clarke could tell.

Great end to a long journey!
Revisado: 10-24-15
What made the experience of listening to 3001 the most enjoyable?
The author's detailed explanation of the world to be was lavish and rich, made images appear in one's minds eye as the story unfolded.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Dave has always been the heart of the story, from 2001 to 3001. His care for the human race and its survival even after his bonding with the monolith reminds me of stories of guardians that ensure that our shortcomings do not end our existence

The virus now known as Stuxnet was unlike any other piece of malware built before: Rather than simply hijacking targeted computers or stealing information from them, it proved that a piece of code could escape the digital realm and wreak actual, physical destruction—in this case, on an Iranian nuclear facility.

Cyber Scarry!!! You will want to unplug after....

Would you listen to Countdown to Zero Day again? Why?
The amount of detail ensures that each read will uncover something that you will have missed previously, but one pass is enough to give you the sense of the danger to online systems.
What did you like best about this story?
The technical details were great, but did not sound like reading of a Comp Sci text book.

Historia
Jack Torrance's new job at the Overlook Hotel is the perfect chance for a fresh start. As the off-season caretaker at the atmospheric old hotel, he'll have plenty of time to spend reconnecting with his family and working on his writing. But as the harsh winter weather sets in, the idyllic location feels ever more remote...and more sinister. And the only one to notice the strange and terrible forces gathering around the Overlook is Danny Torrance, a uniquely gifted five-year-old.
