Historia
Noam Chomsky is widely known and deeply admired for being the founder of modern linguistics, one of the founders of the field of cognitive science, and perhaps the most avidly read political theorist and commentator of our time. In these lectures, he presents a lifetime of philosophical reflection on all three of these areas of research to which he has contributed for over half a century.

Thought provoking but dense
Revisado: 11-15-23
Impressively covers a wide array of topics that could each easily be their own book
Good intro to Chomsky’s work

Historia
It was one of the most searing images of the twentieth century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow—and horror. As Princess Diana was laid to rest, billions wondered what Prince William and Prince Harry must be thinking and feeling—and how their lives would play out from that point on.

Two stars, to be generous
Revisado: 04-27-23
Lamentable, ironic and unimpressive
The use of a ghostwriter seems cheap and rather pathetic.
All I can surmise is that it is at least one person’s goal to decrease the chances of reconciliation between William and Harry.
Heartbreaking.

Historia
In this award-winning Audible Studios production, Trevor Noah tells his wild coming-of-age tale during the twilight of apartheid in South Africa. It’s a story that begins with his mother throwing him from a moving van to save him from a potentially fatal dispute with gangsters, then follows the budding comedian’s path to self-discovery through episodes both poignant and comical.

Best audio book I have EVER heard!!
Revisado: 12-07-19
Trevor Noah's life story is amazingly inspiring and his narration is equally heartfelt as it is entertaining. Listening is spending hours laughing at Noah's brilliant comedy while simultaneously learning about an often overlooked South African history.
