Great story, but unneeded romance
Revisado: 04-29-24
Do not get me wrong the book series has been fantastic in story and the reader's performance. However, I cannot stand Bella in these books, it seems we will never be rid of her either. In my personal opinion a little less worrying about how Collin is going get laid and a bit more about being a superhero may be better perhaps? All the unneeded romance would make the story a much better read.

Historia
By the divine promise of sacrifice, he awakened an Ash Angel with a new body, new powers, and a new war to fight. Cassandra, his temperamental trainer, tries to get him ready to battle Ghostpackers and Dreads, but it might be too little too late: for the first time in history, the Ash Angels are faltering against the fury of an evil more ancient than they are. While he fights to survive run-ins with a Sheid-hunted pop star and a gorgeous but dangerous Dread, Trace realizes his new life cannot erase the trauma of the old.

Yes I am a Christian. I love a lot of fantasy books. This book gives a unique aspect to the fight that goes around us all unseen. Wonderful imagery and a fantastic story to boot. This world will hook you even if you are not Christian. The action is awesome. This comes from a person who enjoys drama and action together as long as it is done well. Keep up the awesome, work!

Unchained from fate, the Norse gods Loki and Hel are ready to unleash Ragnarok, a.k.a. the Apocalypse, upon the earth. They’ve made allies on the darker side of many pantheons, and there’s a globe-spanning battle brewing that ancient Druid Atticus O’Sullivan will be hardpressed to survive, much less win.

Bad on a good day.
Revisado: 04-28-23
Keep in mind I have listen to and bought all the previous book before this travesty. Being the last book in the series, the writer decided to just shove all their politics down the readers throat. Then we have the useless character Granuaile becaming a complete Marry Sue at the end of the book. I really liked the world this author build. But old man I hated this book. I fell a sleep though most of the fight scenes as well. In my honest option, do not waste your time on this series. They just get progressively less good and a lot more preachy at as you go along.

Historia
For someone who’s been alive for two thousand years, Atticus O’Sullivan is a pretty fast runner. Good thing, because he’s being chased by not one but two goddesses of the hunt—Artemis and Diana—for messing with one of their own. Dodging their slings and arrows, Atticus, Granuaile, and his wolfhound, Oberon, are making a mad dash across modern-day Europe to seek help from a friend of the Tuatha Dé Danann. His usual magical option of shifting planes is blocked, so instead of playing hide-and-seek, the game plan is . . . run like hell.

Revisado: 04-11-23
I listen to this book series because of Atticus. His attitude and knowledge in the world building is awesome. However; chapter 6 has a completely unless part in the aspect of Granualie. The entire thing just pulls you out the story. There is no need to hear her mental poetry and how special she is. In fact I could care less if she was not even in the story. More on the main character is best. Less of the side-kick would be better IMO.

Life is busier than ever for Innkeeper Dina DeMille and Sean Evans. But it’s about to get even more chaotic when Sean's werewolf mentor is kidnapped. To find him, they must host an intergalactic spouse-search for one of the most powerful rulers in the Galaxy. Dina is never one to back down from a challenge. That is, if she can manage her temperamental Red Cleaver chef; the consequences of her favorite Galactic ex-tyrant's dark history; the tangled politics of an interstellar nation; and oh, yes, keep the wedding candidates from a dozen alien species from killing each other.

Unneeded Narration
Revisado: 01-21-23
Great story as always. Not a fan of the way Nora Sofyan read the story. She has a way of making a lot of the people sound exactly the same. Was very little emotion when it was stated in the story by the reader either, The story was awesome and action packed as always. Innkeeper Chronicles are by far my favorite series by Ilona Andrews. it goes beyond high fantasy and sic-fi. The major issue I has with this book was the random unneeded narrations describing each new chapter. It completely draws you out of the book. It is completely unwanted and jarring. Would have been a much better performance without it.

Do not waste your time
Revisado: 01-07-23
This book is mind-numbing boring. Keep in mind I love most of Shayne Silvers book series. However this book is a complete waste of time. The entire book just goes over all the stories we have heard about a hundred times in the other book series. You know Kali’s sob story and Nat’s parents. Seriously, this book reminds me of the one amine episode that does nothing but goes over what we have already seen. The situation is beyond frustrating. This book does not push the story at all. I would say do not waste your time on this book. Just wait for the 15th one to come out.

Blasphemy is a victimless crime...Callie Penrose has taken over Castle Dracula all for herself, finally feeling like she has time to take a breath and relax. But the forces of Heaven and Hell have other plans. Callie quickly learns that removing her mother’s protection of binding Excalibur to her soul had very serious consequences. Namely, that it unleashed the Seven Deadly Sins on Kansas City. But they aren’t in town for mayhem - not directly. They came for a wedding. And a very dark prophecy that could bring the age-old Angel War to the streets of the City of Fountains.

Revisado: 11-08-22
The White Rose series has not been bad at all. I like this book, but it has so many points that are mind numbingly boring. I am sure that has everything to do with me not being a romance type of girl. I prefer action and story above all else. In truth I have never been a fan of ninjas types either. My biggest complaint with this book is the underling character(s) that keep being more powerful then once presented. And I am sorry, Nate temple still kicked Raui's ass. I do not care what is said by Callie on this.

Historia
My name is Nate Temple, and I’m secretly a wizard. I ride a foul-mouthed unicorn, I drink with Achilles, and I’m pals with the Four Horsemen. I’ve even cow-tipped the Minotaur. I understand the theory of following the rules...I’m just not very good at the application. Because rules were meant to be broken, and St. Louis has a bit of a supernatural infestation these days. Someone should probably be keeping an eye on these things -and probably an eye on me, too. Before I blow up another building...or three.

Great Book
Revisado: 06-25-22
I am a happy female of middle age. I say this because I want to make sure my perspective comes through. Frist let me say this is an awesome book series so far. Could not put it down. It is not even close to a "poor Harry Dresden" either. Master Temple is in a world all by himself. Full of action and adventure. This series reminds me of an action packed noir with fantasy creatures running around. The narrator does a great job explaining the story he is reading. His deep voice matches the series perfectly. Cannot wait to get the next batch of books to listen too!

Not great and but not completely bad.
Revisado: 06-21-22
Understand, I love the previous 4 books. I enjoy Lovecraft shenanigans. However this book is just way to emo and preachy. I mean preachy in God is super bad way. It just disappointing to have a writer give awesome story and throw their personal opinions in your face a hundred times. Having a extremely boring premise while getting preached at is not fun. This slows this book down to a crawl. Just really not a fan. Could of been so much better.

Revisado: 05-18-22
Ok. I picked this series up because I read it as a teen. After this book I remember why I stopped reading it in high school. I am not a fan of the main character in this story at all. She is extremely boring. The only good part is the side characters. I loved the other books before this one. The books before actually told you about the aspects. This book is just a long story about a temperamental female and her desire for a song. That is the entire book. She does bad stuff and learns nothing from it. At some points in her adult life she still acts like a child. Yeah never again. I guess I will never know how the series ends. This book makes me not care what happens at the end.
