Historia
Dalinar Kholin challenged the evil god Odium to a contest of champions with the future of Roshar on the line. The Knights Radiant have only ten days to prepare—and the sudden ascension of the crafty and ruthless Taravangian to take Odium’s place has thrown everything into disarray. Desperate fighting continues simultaneously worldwide—Adolin in Azir, Sigzil and Venli at the Shattered Plains, and Jasnah in Thaylenah. The former assassin, Szeth, must cleanse his homeland of Shinovar from the dark influence of the Unmade.

Skip the first half
Revisado: 04-30-25
I hate to write this, but this is not Sanderson’s best work. It’s massively over indulgent. Worse, much of it is unnecessary and boring. His editor really let everyone down here. On a bright note, it picks up at the end. For those that are struggling to power through, or don’t have the time, I’d suggest using AI to summarize the first 65% to 75% of the book and then start listening / reading at that point. Everything important in the first 1000+ pages can be summarized in about 5 pages.

Historia
Tau and his Queen, desperate to delay the impending attack on the capital by the indigenous people of Xidda, craft a dangerous plan. If Tau succeeds, the Queen will have the time she needs to assemble her forces and launch an all out assault on her own capital city, where her sister is being propped up as the "true" Queen of the Omehi.

Not as Good as the First
Revisado: 08-31-23
Good, but not as good as the first book. The plot moves at a glacial pace. I felt like the story ended in the first act. The book feels like it’s incomplete and should have been longer. Still very much worth your time.

Historia
The Omehi people have been fighting an unwinnable fight for almost 200 years. The lucky ones are born gifted. One in every 2,000 women has the power to call down dragons. One in every 100 men is able to magically transform himself into a bigger, stronger, faster killing machine. Everyone else is fodder, destined to fight and die in the endless war. Young, giftless Tau knows all this, but he has a plan of escape. He's going to get himself injured, get out early, and settle down to marriage, children, and land. Only, he doesn't get the chance. Those closest to him are murdered....

Hard to Review.
Revisado: 08-31-23
Started slow but once it hooks you it’s amazing. I listened to the whole thing in 2 days during a cross country drive. The fight scenes (most of the book) are consistently some of the best written. It is a bit predictable at times. My biggest criticism is that there are way to many made up words. Combine that with the narrator’s accent and some of it is hard to understand at first: I’d give it 4 1/2 stars.

Historia
In 2016, writer and filmmaker Ben Howe found himself disillusioned with the religious movement he’d always called home. In the pursuit of electoral victory, many American evangelicals embraced moral relativism and toxic partisanship. Whatever happened to the Moral Majority, who headed to Washington in the ’80s to plant the flag of Christian values? Where were the Christian leaders that emerged from that movement and led the charge against Bill Clinton for his deception and unfaithfulness?

Great Book
Revisado: 08-27-19
Great book; albeit mistitled. This is a book written by a Christian for Christianians. The title makes the book seem antagonist towards Christianity, which it is not.
