Revisado: 04-22-22
I bought the audio book to listen to while performing some work tasks. There were some reviews who critisized Chris as full of faults. Who, as a 16 year old was not full of themselves and tripping over thier own feet.
I enjoyed the book, it was paced well, with a good plot and overall was a great "who dun it" type read. I will be buying the next in the series, and if that is on par with this one will continue to do so. The autor did a good job overall.

The mismatched duo must pick the culprit from a gaggle of preening playboys, scatter-brained spinsters, and irate inspectors in this Agatha-Christie-style whodunnit that will have you racing to spot the killer.

Home Run
Revisado: 08-20-21
This is a nice backstory to Major Lennox in WWI. While not a complete book it is a perfect story to slip in between book 5 and 6. Hope we can get one more that covers a adventure earlier in the war to show us why Lennox is the character he is.
I must mention the narrator of these books. He is superb. I hope he does more.

Historia
There's a damsel in distress and accusations of attempted murder flying around, but it's not in the comfortable confines of the English countryside; it's in the very distant city of Damascus. Lennox must go and investigate, although he's not too keen on exotic locations, and his old retainer Greggs is distinctly averse to the very idea. Nevertheless, ex-Chief Inspector Swift persuades them, and they reach the ancient city to discover a movie crew, a spy, and a couple of mysterious ladies.
