Hot, imaginative, and kinky!

What other book might you compare Bound by Lust to and why?

Maybe The Big Book of Submission, in the sense that it's a sexy collection about BDSM. But Bound by Lust covers more ground, in my opinion. Both are good, but BBL covers a variety of perspectives, while BBOS is about, well, submission.

What does Rose Caraway bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Rose Caraway brings a gorgeous, flowing, irresistible energy to the work. I mean, have you HEARD her Kiss Me Quick's podcast? Everything she reads turns to honey and warmth, and a great piece of writing turns into a piece of art when she narrates it.

If you could sum up Dark Secret Love in three words, what would they be?

Raw, dark, and insanely hot (okay that was four words, you caught me)

What other book might you compare Dark Secret Love to and why?

Maybe Story of O, but Dark Secret Love is more about love, as the title indicates. The heroine Samantha isn't just out to please her dom - she needs BDSM every bit as much as he does.

Which character – as performed by Rebecca Estrella – was your favorite?

Why Samantha, of course, but perhaps simply because she is so similar to me. Almost every desire Samantha thinks or utters resonates with my own fantasies. Just as Samantha is perpetually surprised that "some men just know," I kept wondering how Alison Tyler knew every one of my darkest thoughts.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The whole thing, basically, and I don't want to give any spoilers... so let's just say vaguely the part Samantha finally learns that kink isn't necessarily shameful.

Every person who is the slightest bit intrigued by, curious about, or interested in BDSM should listen to this.

Would you consider the audio edition of Twisted to be better than the print version?

If you're a fan of sultry voices reading naughty stories - absolutely!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I definitely had a strong reaction, but suffice to say that it's not appropriate for audible.com ;)

Am I a little bit Twisted myself? Depends on who you ask! That's probably why these stories resonated with me so strongly. In typical Alison Tyler fashion, Twisted stayed with me long after I'd finished listening to the kinky stories, and refused to leave my mind. Like literate bondage stories? You'll love this collection.

What made the experience of listening to B Is for Bondage the most enjoyable?

Hollie's narration is wonderful, but the true draw of this collection for me is the stories. My personal favorite was Shanna Germain's "Silver Bells and Cockle Shells," which managed to be both surprising and hot, a rarity in BDSM erotica. The writing is fabulous, and there's a nuanced ending that I didn't expect (that's all I'm saying for now!)

What about Hollie Jackson’s performance did you like?

What *didn't* I like about it? Her tone is smooth and rich, and the way she delivers the stories really draws you in.

A lovely narration of truly outstanding stories. If you're into kinky tales, or even just a little curious, this is the audiobook for you.
