so good.

It's still so good. But lots of new stuff. A bit overwhelming and makes me wonder if this just turned into a 30 book series.

Historia
For thousands of years, there has been a cycle: a Demon King rises and conquers, and a Hero is reborn a hundred years later to defeat him. Each time, civilizations are ground to dust beneath the Demon King's hordes, but humanity has remained secure in the belief that a Hero of legend will always save them. There's just one slight problem. It's only been 23 years since the Demon King's latest rise, and this time, he's already conquered more than half the world. If humanity simply waits for the Hero's return, there may be no world left for him to save.

I don't know if this book works for those who are not litRPG people or Zelda fans but I am both and this book was absolutely delightful. Laugh out loud funny to me which is really rare. Loved it.

Historia
Eco-terrorists unleash the worst attack the world has ever seen. Over 25,000 autonomous combat drones are released in Manhattan. Hundreds of thousands are dead, and the entire island is evacuated and quarantined in just a few days' time. Ten years later, Manhattan is still empty of humans, with the exception of the salvage specialists of the most watched reality show in history: Zone War. Produced live and unedited, the show follows five teams of armored vehicle specialists who brave the active drones to recover lost riches and collect bounties on dead ones.

Revisado: 01-24-20
Demon Accords is my favorite book series. Saw this series and was thinking it wasn't for me. Turns out I'm not in it for the fantasy, I'm in it for the underestimated over powered protagonist who always comes out on top. There's nobody better at writing those than John Conroe. I'm hooked again!

Historia
Drew Michalik was working in a top-secret facility in Washington, DC, when the Advent began. As all electronics in the world simply ceased to work, blue screens filled with information appeared before him. Drew was given access to a mana interface and a limited number of reality-altering crystals called Xatherite. Following the instructions on his vision-impairing screens, he "slotted" his Xatherite and changed his fate: He gained the ability to cast spells. Now alone in the dark, he must battle through the government bunker turned dungeon in a desperate bid for survival.

Historia
In the realm of Eon, strength is the rule of law. In daylight, the realm is ruled by the adepts, a group of mighty cultivators that use their spirits to wield world-bending, mystic power. These adepts live in constant strife, fighting for control of relics that hold the divine powers of ancient gods. In twilight, the realm belongs to the darkbeasts, nightmarish creatures born of a mysterious fog known as the veil. These creatures are drawn to power, hoarding relics in their dungeons and slaying any adepts that dare venture too close.

All around incredible LitRPG.
Revisado: 06-28-19
Awesome world building, great power system, main character gets a really nice leg up that will take him beyond others. Story was really good. Narration was fantastic with no immersion breaking moments. Only slight negative was protagonist was a bit much of a gruff jerk most of the book but it's within how he was designed.

Historia
One day, six towers appear on Earth. Each one stands hundreds of stories tall, and are invulnerable to all attacks. At the base of each tower is a portal, welcoming in all who dare enter it. All sorts of magical monsters can be found inside the towers. Even treasure, magic, and superhuman strength can be acquired. The problem is that the towers aren't a friendly place. Even worse, the towers sometimes release waves of monsters to attack Earth. In the year 2083, there are only a hundred survivors. In one last attempt, they challenge the final floor without regard for their lives.

Incredibly good LitRPG with OP Protagonist
Revisado: 06-22-19
Man I love OP Protagonists. This is a great book. Interesting world that has been crafted, loveable main character, awesome RPG elements, great story that starts off making you think will be somewhat shallow but as it starts to peel back the current you realize it will be an incredible story. Cannot wait for book 2! Narration was really well done as well. A couple accents were a bit rough but was only for maybe 20 seconds and everything else kept me immersed. Great job.

I don't know if my expectations were just low going in but man what a great book this was. Story starts off at a fast pace. Love the main guy (though a bit frustrating how dim witted he can be at times). And of course Luke Daniels kills it without fail. You can't beat him.

Historia
Eighteen years ago, Tom, a barber college student, got trapped in the Monsters, Maces and Magic game world as Josiah the thief. The first two adventures saw all of Tom’s party members, also trapped within the game world, perish within the fetid depths of the Dark Heart Swamp. His subsequent stint adventuring with NPCs proved short lived. He preferred survival. Over time, Tom became Josiah, adopting a life blending in with the game world’s NPCs. But life, even one lived as a faux NPC, can get interesting.

Revisado: 02-26-19
This was a great D&D based short story litRPG. Nice characters and a ton of detail in describing the world. I would say for 3 hours I would have liked a bit more story and less detailed fight scenes. The narrator was absolutely fantastic in all regards. Very talented.

Revisado: 02-07-19
Good book that did really well with characters and their relationships with each other. They grew closer and you liked them. Narrator had some issues for me personally as I could not tell who was talking at times. Story was interesting but felt there was not substantial reasoning given for some of the events in the book playing out like they did. Still, looking forward to seeing book 2.
