A Story that needed to be told

Great story, I actually enjoyed the first half more than second probably because I knew how it was going to end. I hate the idea of any child suffering and I can't help wondering what would have happened to Tony Pearson if he did not move in with his friend as a teenager, did not go to California, got on a different bus, or was not offered a free room from the school teachers. My biggest take away from listening to this book is the generosity of strangers can change a life. I liked how he never complained about his circumstances and took accountability for everything, no excuses given. Congrats on all you have accomplished Mr. Pearson. I hope your story can encourage those who are dealt a hard hand in life. Whatever hand you are dealt, make the most of it.
