Great story - BRILLIANT READING!
Revisado: 07-07-05
The story is beautiful, the writing is only fair, but could they have found anyone better than Eric Idle to read it? Answer: NO! He is the perfect reader of this material, and my family is enjoying it tremendously!

Historia
Can man live on fast food alone? Morgan Spurlock tried to do just that. For 30 days, he ate nothing but three "squares" a day from McDonald's as part of an investigation into the effects of fast food on American health. The resulting documentary won him resounding applause and a worldwide release that broke box-office records. Audiences were captivated by Spurlock's experiment, during which he gained 25 pounds, his blood pressure skyrocketed, and his libido all but disappeared.

A must-read!
Revisado: 05-20-05
If you liked the tongue-in-cheek style of the superblockbustermegahit "Super Size Me," you'll love this book, graciously read by the man himself. Conversely, if you like this book, you MUST watch the movie!
Unfortunately, most people who absorb these materials are the ones who are interested in this subject because they already know better than to eat the crap they try to force down our throats. Listen to and/or read this book, and spread the word to your fat friends!

Historia
Phil Lesh first met Jerry Garcia in 1959 in the clubs of Palo Alto, California. At Garcia's suggestion, Lesh learned to play the electric bass and joined him in a new group that blended R&B, country, and rock 'n' roll with an experimental fervor never before heard.

I enjoyed this book
Revisado: 04-26-05
I have always been a Dead fan, but never a "Deadhead," so a lot of the information here was new to me. I was fascinated by Lesh's stories of the early days up through the "end" and beyond...
I would have liked to hear the full version of the book. I didn't realize it was an abridgement.
Great job, Phil! Keep searching, and stay healthy!
