This was so painful to finish, the character development was weak, the weird Italian food fetish, I’m not even sure what to say about the overall story and for there to be more books seems absurd.

The best grey man!

My favorite grey man so far, and a cliffhanger…I finished this book in 2 days simply couldn’t put it down. Amazing work!

Weak story

4 hours of noise, 60 seconds of hot and heavy love making then 4 hours of noise. Staying this is an assassins guild I expected more action and suspense. Instead it was meeting townsfolk and visiting buildings with the vail of who could the villain be. The graphic sex was out of left field to the level of detail compared to the boringness of the rest of the story. Not sure I could stand next in the series.

Why Joe Jameson?

Huge joe Jameson fan especially tyrants throne series but he utterly ruins this book. In general, Changing readers 10 books in is a crazy move. Joe uses the same character voices from other books and he makes most these characters actually sound retarded. I hope the next few books get better or I get used to the new style of each characters voices.

Whatever is costs I need more of joe, thank goodness me started and basically ended this series. I could have done without the other readers, give me joe or give me death, he makes the series. Short stories were great, other readers were meh.

Sarah Maas leaves childish novels behind

I’ll make 2 points here, first it took me 1/2 through the book to comprehend the world in which this novel is set which is mainly non humans based. 2nd the way she wrote this book shows even more growth for the glass thrown series and is significantly more graphic (adult) in nature. Overall I enjoyed this story once I was able to understand all the layers (I think an intro the world this story is set in would have helped me but I finally caught on) and Elizabeth Evans does another superb job Narrating. Can’t wait for house of sky and breath!

A lot of back story then a rush to the finish. The Huntress and the Alice Network were 10x a better read than this book.
