Tragically amazing
Revisado: 09-20-18
I love the story and how amazing Veda is in overcoming all the obstacles she faces. In a time where girls and woman act only a certain way, it was refreshing for the story to be around a father who loved his daughter enough to support her through so much. I do have to admit I was kind of disappointing that the ending was rushed within the last 2 chapters but it was a great story and worth re reading.

Historia
Mitch Prescott was Shay Kendall's savior. He'd bought her mother's mansion on the Washington coast, a financial albatross that Shay couldn't handle. And now he offered her true financial independence - a dream as seductive as Mitch himself. All she had to do was help him write an exposé on her mother, a former Hollywood star. It felt disloyal, even though her mother would never know the difference. Once a legend, Rosamond now wasted away in a long-term care facility, clutching a doll she thought was her baby.

Love it
Revisado: 09-16-18
The story is amazing and makes you laugh and get teary eyed in the same chapter. A great story of being hurt by a man and learning to get through it so a real man can love you better and for real this time. Good read and I’ll probably read it again.

great book
Revisado: 09-14-18
Great book that doesn't take long at all to get into the action. Not every book has a happy ending but it can be an ending that gives you the satisfaction of justice for the main character that you're dying for the entire story. Many parts missed or skipped when reading and the sound effects, because of the so many chapters, gets kind of annoying.

It wasn't a roller coaster ride or a build up to a big moment....it was great throughout. It held my attention consistently and had a beautiful message about life and those apart of it who you love. Definitely worth the read!!

I underestimated how amazing this book would be......but picking it up for the 1st time and reading all the way to page 100+ without realizing it was a huge surprise. I haven’t done that in awhile. The story doesn’t take forever to start and get you hooked. And it does it all the way to the prologue.

The story didn’t take long to get going. It captured your attention and curiosity from the beginning and didn’t stop until the last page. I would’ve never guessed it turning out the way it did. Another amazing story by Mary Higgins Clark!!

Book 3.....All comes together
Revisado: 03-12-17
It was a roller coaster of events good, bad and ugly but I love how Nora Roberts tied everything together. All their stories were perfectly finished in the end: Roz, Stella, Hayley and 'the bride'. I absolutely love this series and can't wait to come back to it and read it again. Nora Roberts always captures your attention amazingly and this book and series are no different.

Really love this book. Nora Roberts sets up the story and background so well in "Blue Dahlia" and this one gets JUICY!!!! So many lives come together, so many lives are tested and some lives are discovered. Loved it and definitely a reread sometime in the future. "Red Lily" here I come...

Loved!!!
Revisado: 03-04-17
I love Nora Roberts and can't wait to finish this trilogy. The story is so dynamic and each chapter flows perfectly. A widow raising her 2 boys. A love connection between 2 co-workers. And a creepy ghost who has a love for children. What's not to love?! The narrator makes all the side gestures to make the characters come alive that aren't in the book (all the sighs, ugh, screams, etc).
