Historia
An ambitious mother puts her art career on hold to stay at home with her newborn son, but the experience does not match her imagination. Two years later, she steps into the bathroom for a break from her toddler's demands, only to discover a dense patch of hair on the back of her neck. In the mirror, her canines suddenly look sharper than she remembers. Her husband, who travels for work five days a week, casually dismisses her fears from faraway hotel rooms.

Life for a life?
Revisado: 03-05-25
Examining and clearly stating the fact that women give violently of themselves to create life did not come until late in the book. Such an important point. The taking of meek lives, even in fiction, is not justifiable to this end. The writing was splendid, but the course of the book was vulgar.

Connection with those who’ve passed.
Revisado: 03-20-24
Wonderful voice for her own work. Very good voice actress. Irish accent not convincing, but a great voice to spend time with. The story is engagkng; the characters are people I want in my life. Just delightful. And scary.

Historia
The vagus nerve allows our brains to receive information concerning many different bodily functions, and it can affect many different areas of the body, including one’s voice. This is one of the first symptoms of vagus nerve disorder. The nerve can affect us to the point of causing issues such as obesity, chronic health problems, and even mood disorders. Also, overthinking is irritating to the mind and can result in serious consequences to the well-being of an individual.

Who translated this???
Revisado: 02-08-24
There was, apparently, no editor employed for this publication. So very much of the material makes no sense grammatically. The fact that the narrator has neither a good handle on English nor on the pronunciation of medical terminology makes this book near to useless. This is absolutely the worst audiobook performance I have ever encountered.

Historia
Your colleague says he agrees, but does he really, or is it only a facade? Have you ever thought you were going crazy, had your self-esteem suffer, or do you have a feeling you are being used, manipulated, or played? Do you sometimes feel uncomfortable around people and have a really hard time understanding their “real intentions”? If you answered "Yes" to at least one of the questions above, you are absolutely not alone.

Reader is not the best
Revisado: 09-05-23
Very hard to listen to. The reader didn’t sound as though he was part of what he was reading. Rather like being chosen to read aloud in class.
