The Narrated did such an outstanding job bring this story to life in every way possible and I could not stop listening to this audiobook. they did such a wonderful job making you feel like you where right their with the characters, I highly recommend checking this out and everyone will enjoy it

As a teenager Lexie befriended the monsters under her bed, she thought they would never hurt her but she was wrong. It’s been 12 years since the incident that sent Lexie running from her home in Texas all the way to Australia. Although the monsters still haunt her nightmares she managed to escape their grasp. When her father is taken critically ill she reluctantly returns home vowing to find answers about what happened all those years ago. She soon finds herself dragged in to the darkness coming face to face with her monsters.

Filled with secrets and suspense, the plot is interesting and there are a few twists to keep us on our toes. There is good world building, with focus on story over steam. Lexie is not my favourite FMC but the potential is there so hopefully she improves in the next book. The pictures are 🔥🔥 and deserve and extra special mention.

Narrated Elle and Jeffrey did an amazing job bringing this story to life in every possible way I could of imagined it to be. I absolutely could not stop listening to it and wanting to know what was gonna happen next.they really made you feel like you were apart of this world and did an outstanding job bring the characters to life.i recommend everyone to give this audiobook a listen to and well worth it too.

Anya is at the Four families quarterly talent reception in Ireland with Nicholai. As he drags her away and surreptitiously looks over his shoulder all she can think is danger, but that is all her life is now because she has no choice...she is his slave and everything is a danger to her.

Vigo of the Vittori family says he has information on who caused the plane explosion that killed Nicholai's family and his payment is an hour with Anya to do anything he wishes as long as no bones are broken. She can't believe what's she's hearing. He has never shared her before. She closes off her mind because no matter who rapes her...she is Nicholai's slave and has never had a choice.

Ezra has been kidnapped and beaten and can't tell where he is with the hood over his head. When it is removed he finds himself in a dance studio. When he demands to know where he is the petite woman informs him that that he is home and her slave. Then he notices her pointe shoes. He is being held prisoner by a ballerina.

This book is just WOW! Brynn Ford brings an amazing story of horror of Anya and Ezra's life after being kidnapped, but instead of being sold through the Four Families usual human trafficking system, they are kept as talent slaves. The Four Families hold quarterly business meetings, but before the talks begin the hosting family holds a talent reception for their entertainment. All of the talent are slaves.

All of the characters in this book are amazing. They are fully developed and you feel like you know them personally, although thankfully Nicholai and Vigo are not on my list of people to meet.

Anya has been Nicholai's slave for three years and she has learned how to survive, but she needs to make Ezra understand that he has to submit to her and follow her instructions to the tee.

Ezra is enraged that he has been kidnapped to be Nicholai's personal entertainment, but when he realizes that Anya is being brutally punished physically and sexually he submits to spare her pain.

Nicholai and Vigo are just plane sociopaths and monsters. When you think nothing can beat Nicholai for his sadistic ways you meet Vigo and learn that things can get so much worse.

This books ends on a heartbreaking cliffhanger and I can't wait to read more of Anya and Ezra's story.

The Narrated Allyson and Christian did such a fantastic work bringing this story to life, kept me interested in wanting to keep listening to it and made you feel like you were apart of the world and the way they tell the characters story is so good, I highly recommend checking out this audiobook and it worth it

Discovered is the first book I've read by Serenity Rayne and I highly enjoyed it. This is a limited multiple points of view that takes the typical angel mythology and gives it a little twist. The story centers on Thana, who is a nephilim and finally gets her turn at the Mate Trails so she can find her fated mates.
So nephilim are the offspring of angels and humans but Thana is not your typical for one she's more angel than human and another is that Thana is the child of a dark angel and a light angel, she is both light and dark. There is no one else with her dual nature and

Thana got a raw deal in the parents department, Neither parent could accept the other half of her and pretty much just abandoned her. The angel culture is less understanding of dark angels/nephilim, there is a stigma around them so Thana grows up feeling ashamed of her darker half and therefore has some confidence issues when it comes to that. However, she did let her heritage or her upbringing tear her down. Thana is a caring individual who just wants to help people in their time of need.

The mate trails are a bit tricky, I'm still not really clear on them but Thana ends up with four hot mates. Thana's boss, Raphael, who is an archangel and so caring, Christian who was a friend turned mate is so sweet, Gabe who is still a bit of a mystery but supportive, and Cryus who is a bad boy, status complicated. Thana and the guys connect really well, mostly. They still had to learn how to be together as a group and learn each other but overall they're a good group.

I have to talk about some of the other characters, archangel Michael is a mentor type, highly respected, and might be important later because he seems to know a lot of something that the others don't. Mostly I wanted to talk about Azrael who is a dark angel and also Cyrus's father, and not what I expected. Azrael is pretty powerful and commands respect, I expected him to be a jerk but it's not what I got. I love him he reminds me of an old rockstar who was crap to his family but later on tries to make amends and turns out to be a pretty great father-in-law, caring, protective, and playful. He has a playful glimmer in his eye and most definitely knows more than he lets on.

The plot was good, it had its corny moments but I loved them mostly because I liked the characters. My one complaint is that things were going great at first but then some moments felt weird a little forced and a couple of little things didn't line up with what was said previously, but those weren't that big of a deal. I loved all the coupley scenes and getting to see the different angelic powers.

Discovered was a great read it had a lot of elements that I love. The story has hints of omegaverse, familiars, angelic powers, magical tattoos, a mysterious prophecy, and an unknown enemy are just a few things that make this a compelling story. Thana has her mates but trouble is not far and I'm eager to see what happens next.

Allyson did such an outstanding job bringing this audiobook to life. she went above and beyond telling the story and making you feel like you where apart of it and I could not stop listening to this audiobook. She did a fantastic job with bringing the characters to life. I highly suggested giving this a listen to.

The story drew me in from the beginning and was very well-paced. Compared to the other omegaverse book I read just before this (Lyric and the Heartbeats by Lana Kole) which moved very slowly and in which nothing much happened, this book just had so much happening, especially with the way each member of the harem was introduced and how her relationship with each one unfolded. I felt like there was never a dull moment. The three men were very different and distinctive with particular personalities, jobs, and characteristics, which I appreciated. They all approach her very differently; with Hades it's slow and subtle, with Wilder it's sudden and explosive, with Roman it's sweet and caring with an edge of kink (restraints/handcuffs). I also liked that Aleks isn't a typical submissive omega, but is feisty and fierce and will fight when pushed.

I was surprised that none of the harem were jealous of each other. They do know each other beforehand, or at least know of each other although they weren't friends. Perhaps it is common in their shifter world to share a mate, and that's why none of them were surprised? This is one thing that really bugged me. The other thing that bugged me was the danger to Aleks which I felt wasn't very well portrayed, in terms of how the danger escalated to its climax. I also thought that the way the Villain acted towards her was unrealistic, considering what the Villain actually wanted from her.

Allyson and Tyler did such an outstanding job Narrating the audiobook of Owned by the Lost Boys, I absolutely could not stop listening to this Audiobook, they brought this world to life I every way possible making you feel like you where inside of the story. they brought the characters to life in every way I imagined theme to be and I highly advise and recommend this book to all of my friends and feel like it worth listening to it.

Ari doesn't know she belongs to the Lost Boys but soon enough she will figure it out and maybe not the easy way ... but she will find out.

Once she is branded by these guys she is not happy about it and she seems a bit put off and bothered but once they start to invade her space and every crevice she starts to realize that she they start growing on her. She starts getting fascinated by what they do and maybe at one point she thinks she might have thought that she wouldn't think she belonged in their world, but she comes to realize that she does belong with them.

She is Wendy Darling to their Peter Pan (how cute)! and each and every one of these five guys treat her with care and adoration and I fell in love with each one regardless of what they did in this town.

The Narrated Laurie and Troy did such a wonderful job bringing this story to life, I absolutely loved hearing this on audiobook and they brought the characters to life in every way possible and I could not stop listening to this and you really felt like you where apart of this book and I could not stop recommending this to my friends and suggest everyone to give it a listen,

I wound up reading the final book in this interconnected series before finishing this one (heads up - if you don't want spoilers just avoid that epilogue until you finish the others in the series) so I had already met Anya's brothers. The way they described their sister I knew I was going to love her character before I even started. I was not wrong. Anya is a spitfire! She has so much backbone and after the way she's treated when she first arrives in London it was obvious that she wasn't going to be walked on by anyone. But my favorite thing about her is how much music means to her and how vital it is to who she is as a person. I can relate to that in so many ways it's not even funny. It was like I could see bits of myself in her story anytime her music was brought up.
As for the guys... Danny can take a beautiful swan dive of a leap from the highest building in the UK. That's all the time I'm going to spend on him. You have to give it to the sisters though because they sure know how to write a villain that we all love to hate.
Moving on. Franky boy... whew Frank was a shock to my system as much as he was Anya's. He was so cold and anger seemed to be his only emotion when we first meet him I wasn't sure how much I would like him by the end. But once he started connecting with her through her music I knew he was going to potentially be my favorite. And if I wasn't already warming up to him before that first scene at the Duck and Dog I would have firmly been team Frank afterward! I mean sweet lord... how could you not fall for a man with that level of confidence and talent right? (For those who haven't read it yet just wait and see.)
Then we have Church. Oh my god, he is the Leon of this story so of course, I absolutely adore him! This is where the sisters excel is with characters like him. He's confident but not annoyingly so. He's smart but also sometimes lacks common sense and it gives him this innocence that you can't help but love. And he's hysterical! So much of the humor and my side-splitting laughter came from scenes with this man. I got excited every time I saw that the next chapter was from his pov!
As for the king of London, Mr. Benny Butcher himself well, you can't help but love him too. After all, he is determined to right the wrongs of his stupid brother. Even with almost everyone around him against him in one way or another he stays firm in acting the part he's chosen to play without becoming his horrible brother in the process. He also lets Anya have quite a bit more freedom than most mafia men in his situation probably would have. For a leader of a criminal empire, he's not really that bad of a guy, to be honest. Of course, all the guys are hot as sin which makes for some very satisfying (and sometimes comical) spicy scenes. Oh, and if you like extended epilogues well they give you plenty of it with this one which was so awesome.

The Narrated Zara and Lucas did such an outstanding job telling this amazing story, they did such a wonderful job bringing this world to life, making you feel like you were a part of the this story, they made the characters come to life in every way possible and highly reccomend every one to give this a listen to.

What starts out as a volitile situation, turns into something unexpected. I was completely taken by the strength of the heroine, Dahlia.

Dahlia was promised to Lucian Rossi 10 years prior in a peace treaty amongst warring families.

But, this is not your typical arranged marriage situation. Oh no. This book is deeper, darker and touches part of your soul. You'll feel the pain of the characters.

Dahlia, a young refined woman from England is sent to the US, as she's told she's getting married. She meets a charismatic American & have intense chemistry. Dahlia has never had any control of her life and she decides to take control of one aspect of her life. She gives him a non-refundable piece of herself. Upon landing, she discovers that the man she was with is actually her future brother in law. Let the drama ensue

The Narrated Alexander & Maeve did such a outstanding job bring this story to life in every way possible, they had me wanting to listen to more of the book to find out what was to happen next, i loved how they brought the characters to life and made you feel like you where a part of the book and I highly reccomend every one to give this a listen and to read it

We start with the Irish Mob, based in Boston & run by Tiernen Kelly, his younger Brother & Cousin rule beneath him, Shay and Colin. They are gifted a Cartel Princess, Rosa, all in the name of a peace deal 10 years in the making. Tiernen & Rosa marry, have children, mix their families blood & end the Mafia Wars, that's what the old heads planned out. All of the other Family's are all doing the same, his own little sister, Lily, is going to Las Vegas & the Bratva and it's killing him!😢

The initial fear from Rosa & her insecurities really hit home how sheltered she was. She'd been protected from everyone but treated badly by her father. That harm wasn't discussed at all, a missed opportunity?? The way she started to blossom for her husband, under his tutelage, was beautifully & seductively written.🔥 It makes her gradual withdrawal into herself, because of his cruel words, gut wrenching. Her soft heart just wasn't meant for such vile spite!😢 She's desperately craving the love and affection she was initially shown by her husband but it was a lie.💔 Tiernen may come to regret throwing Rosa away the way he did. He underestimated her! Shay & Colin follow his orders regarding her, against their better judgement.💘🔥 Soon his decisions, regarding the four of them, will have the power to ruin them all!😳💥

I enjoyed this author's writing. It had pace with lots emotion still shining through it. The sexual tension & the steamy scenes were written really well & definitely captured my imagination.😉 However, unfortunately I just wasn't convinced by the turnaround in this couple.😕 The stance Rosa took seemed too brave & brazen but for Tiernen to swallow his pride & prejudice to acquiesce, as hot & romantic as it was, it didn't ring true for these characters for me. With all of that said & done, I thoroughly enjoyed this read. It's was delicious escapism and I've preordered the entire series!🌟💘💥

The Narrated did an absolutely outstanding job telling this story, she kept me interested in this audiobook throughout the whole thing and i couldn't stop listening to this one. she brought the characters to life in everyway possible and highly reccomended everyone to give this a listen to and you wont be disappointed.

I loved this concept! Laura's storytelling and apocalyptic, dystopian worldbuilding are great and original. Pestilence is equally action-packed and character-driven. It's a dark and twisted paranormal story which made me question morality, humanity, life and death.

Pestilence, the first horseman who comes back after their arrival on Earth, is riding through the world, spreading plague. Every city he sets foot in gets infected. Sara and her fellow firefighter colleagues know they have to stop him, otherwise, everyone they love will perish. Sara is the unlucky one who has to rid the world of him somehow, even if she doesn't like the idea of killing anyone. Call it fate or misfortune but her plan fails and Pestilence sets out on revenge. He won't let a good opportunity go to waste, he will make an example of Sara. The message is clear as day; if you dare to cross him, you will only find endless suffering. Pestilence resumes his journey, now with Sara in tow. His treatment of her would shake even the toughest people. If she tries to escape, his methods only get crueler. If she tries to stop him from killing innocents, he makes sure she watches them suffer. But between torturing her and wiping out humanity, they also connect.

Sara is snarkastic and compassionate, and it's thanks to her survival instincts that they start to talk and without even realizing, they develop a very fragile bond which is tested on multiple occasions but when the time comes they prove their loyalty to each other. It's Sara who opens toward him first and gets attracted to his angelic beauty, but it's gruff Pestilence who is ready to move things forward. They both grow and change but their relationship comes with a price and makes them question their beliefs.

Cris did such an amazing job bringing this story to life for me in every possible way. they brought all the characters to life the way i pictured them and could not stop listening to this book and highly reccomend it to all of my friends.

Three Mages and Margarita is told from first person point of view from Tori's perspective. At the start of the book she gets fired from another job, she has a hard time keeping a job because of her temper. I don't really care for characters with a temper, but in most situation I thought her temper made sense. She didn't just got angry all the time, only when people really went too far. And instead of letting things slide she exploded with her temper then. She sure isn't afraid to tell anyone what she thinks and knows how to stand up for herself.

After another failed interview she stumbles upon a job to be a bartender and decides to check it out, which is how she lands in a magic guild working as a bartender. I liked the set-up for this story, with how a normal human desperate for a new job accidentally stumbles upon a guild and start working there as a bartender. It also was interesting to see how the magic people reacted to Tori and they weren't too happy at first with a normal human in their midst. And even tough Tori is just a normal human, she still can contribute things and holds her own surrounding by all the magic users. I kinda liked how she is a human while being swept up in some magic problems.

I liked Tori as a main character. She has a bit of a temper, but also works hard and doesn't back away from danger. I liked how she was just a normal human surrounding by people with all sorts of magic, but still hold her own. This book also touched upon some fears she has, but that didn't get explored as much as I would've liked. I do have the feeling we're going to see more of that in later books. Overall I liked her, but would like to get to know her better. And I had hoped to see a bit more about the whole bar tending thing, but while most of the book takes place while she's bar tending, except for her first day there, we don't get as many details about her actual work.

There are a bunch of side characters as well that play a role in the story. Most noticeable the three mages that the title refers to. Aaron, Kai and Ezra are three mages that sit at the bar during Tori's first shift and she slowly befriends all three of them. All of them had their own personality and I liked how they were close friends that had each other's back.

My favorite so far is probably Ezra, he is the quiet and mysterious type, who has a soft side and actually cares a lot. There's a bit of mystery surrounding his past that gets hinted to. I liked the hug scene with Tori as it really shows he has a lot of emotions even tough he doesn't always show them. Aaron is a bit fiery and talks a lot and there are some great interactions he has with Tori too. There's also a bit of history he has with how and why he joined this guild, which was kinda interesting. Kai is the one I probably find the hardest to get a good feel for. He's Aaron's best friend. He is described as hot, just like the other two and there is a cool action scene at the end of the book, but besides that I wasn't fully sure what to think of him. There are a few pieces of information that give a bit of a look into his personality tough.

Overall I am looking forward to getting to know these guys more and I am a tad sad this isn't a reverse harem as I have no clue how Tori is going to choose between these 3 if it ever comes to a romance. Tori gets to know all three of the guys and there is a small hint of a possible romance, but it doesn't quite get there. And while she kisses one of the guys, she also seems pretty close to one of the other too, so not sure where that is going yet.

I liked the set-up for this world building with the guild thing and how the magical people police themselves. There are also a bunch of different types of magic users, anything from the mags who throw elemental powers to alchemists, sorcerers who learn spells, powers like telepathy and more. There are grouped in some main categories and we get a feel for the different types of powers. It is a bit of an everything exists world when it comes to the magic and paranormal, but I did like how the main groups and things like the guild gave an unique touch to it all. And I have the feel we only have a glimpse of what this world has to offer.
