This story was crazy but I got through it. The narrator kept mixing up the names and voices of the characters. It ended better than I thought it would. If I wasn’t the type to finish a series I would have probably stopped at book two. It was good but not Brenda Hampton good. Ok for the author

Good series

I really enjoyed this series, but wasn’t long enough for me. I do feel like many of your questions were answered by the end of the series. I just wanted more.

Real love

I really enjoyed this story. It reminded me of myself. I recently became reacquainted with an old school mate and fell in love. We weren’t school sweethearts but if you do us you would think we were. This book was very real for me. I love it was short and sweet. I was surprised how connected I felt to the characters since they was a very short book. I normally listen to long books. My only disappointment was the narrator. She did improve some as the book went on. If it wasn’t for the story I probably wouldn’t have listened to the whole book. Don’t let that stop you from listening. Her voice was just a tab bit annoying for me. You may love her voice.

I love the reader. I love how this book was setup. It ended too soon for me. I want you to know the next book is good also. It reads a little slow for ME. I will not be reading book 3 only because it is a complete different story.

Standalone novel

I was disappointed that this was a stand alone book. I was really looking forward to hearing more about the 1st "Dirty Money". I found out none of the books are true sequels. This was a good book. It was just a little slow for me. Stephen King slow almost, but the story line was amazing. I will say these two authors do not believe in Happily ever after. I love book 1 & 2. I will not be reading book 3 because I wanted to read a true book series. If you like true urban fiction this is it. A lot of (Black) books are listed as urban fiction this is it. I say check it out.

This book is apart of a 3 part series. I liked the 1st book a lot. The 2nd book made me cry,laugh, cuss &cry again. I never give a review that will fill you in on what’s to come. I feel that a read should experience a book for him/herself. I will let you know this is a great series. I’m about to buy books 3

Ok, I really enjoyed this book. I actually didn't plan one liking this book. I fell in love with the main Male and his love her the main lady in the book. Book 2 can't wait to start it
