Hero is the loser.

The enemy or bad guy in this story seems to win and the hero loses. First his enemy kills the heroine before she and the hero can enjoy a life together Then hero finds his enemy after decades. so, he’s alone. Hero finds enemy enjoying a dinner party with friends. Then the enemy kills the hero. Both die. No I will not be listening nor reading anymore of Hamilton books again.
