This story was heavy on the character development which I LOVE. I also loved the variation on the narrator's speed and cadence, matching the action. If you want an even cadence have AI read for you (and expire from boredom). Love the characters. I want MORE.

Deep Wisdom for the Spiritual Seeker

This book is so much deeper than it may seem at first listen. Generally I will read/ listen to a book once and then don't need to revisit it for 10 to 20 years. This one I turned around and listened to again immediately ( if for no other reason than to hear Thomas Hübl's soothing voice!), but I got even more out of it. I've listened to this now many dozens of times and every single listen, in whole our in part, reveals something a little deeper than I'd received before. I cannot recommend this enough to anyone on a spiritual path.

A Must Read for Women

I do not reread books. THIS one I will be turning right around and rereading again. And again. This answered so many questions I didn't know how to ask and is the single most inspiring book I have EVER read and I read copiously in genres known for their inspiration. I'm on fire. Not to be missed. If you are a woman who has almost given up on men READ THIS BOOK.

Excellent Primer for NVC

I found the learning and practicing of nonviolent communication to be cumbersome. This author helps simplify it so that it can be practically useful. Definitely recommend.

I LOVED this story up until about half way, then..

So. Did I always miss that Edward is basically a malignant and abusive narcissist? But wait... he's not? But he is. Whiplash. Also I LOVED the first half of this...

After about half way through it.. I'd lost interest in his motivations and lost patience for his monstrosity. "Don't be difficult, Bella. " Aw, hell no. Just go home, Edward.

But I finished it! Yay me! Probably won't bother with the next installment coming up in 2030.

Sales Pitch

This is one of those coach written books that is an hours-long sales pitch. There is some value in it if you're new to the Law of Attraction, or have only dabbled. If you think you'll actually get to learn the very thing the book is supposed to be about, the M.A.P. System, don't bother. It's not in there. It is suggested you set up an appointment with a certified coach if you want to experience it. If you are one who wants to know what's involved before spending the big bucks to learn it (they won't tell you how much, but set you up with a live call...experience says this is probably in the 10's of thousands), well...maybe you won't be scared off by the woo that sounds like a panacea...always a red flag. I mean it basically sounds as if they've figured out how to do prayer *just* *right* to get results. Sorry, loves. You'd have to allow me to actually produce results myself before I could buy into that. Even for $100. Certainly not for more. I'll probably return this book, a real rarity for me.

Dated But Valid

This book was written for another time, but many of the concepts are timeless. A very valuable read if you are adept at discerning which of what he speaks is outdated. One can assume that advice pertaining to particular vocations is obsolete! Also, he gives advice about "never" allowing oneself to feel a particular way and feeling another thing with "unwavering" consistency. This is, of course, impossible, as proven by modern psychology, and will likely cause unnecessary frustration for the perfectionist. If you can wade through all of this it's a worthy read. And if you don't like the way this review is written, you won't like the book, ha ha!
