Historia
When COVID-19 sweeps through New York City, Jamie Gray is stuck as a dead-end driver for food-delivery apps. That is, until Jamie makes a delivery to an old acquaintance, Tom, who works at what he calls “an animal rights organization”. Tom’s team needs a last-minute grunt to handle things on their next field visit. Jamie, eager to do anything, immediately signs on. What Tom doesn't tell Jamie is that the animals his team cares for are not here on Earth. Not our Earth, at at least. In an alternate dimension, dinosaur-like creatures named Kaiju roam a warm and human-free world.

Snarky good humor
Revisado: 12-14-24
This book was a complete surprise to me. The story was different, the characters were fun, and the good humored ribbing between them made me laugh. I don’t know yet if there’s a sequel, but I would love to revisit this world.

There is no exact explanation of the word “pagan” - no explanation that you could understand in less than a month. To properly understand the depths of Paganism, you need to know where it all started - and how it developed throughout generations. Ultimately, it is thanks to this book that you will either satisfy your curiosity, or get a better idea of where your beliefs lie. Hence, you need not wait any longer!

Enjoy the book, the narrator has a way engaging that makes it pleasant to listen to, and it made me want to read more on the subject

Historia
Cary Grant: The Making of a Hollywood Legend tells the incredible story of how a sad, neglected boy became the suave, glamorous star many know and idolize. The first biography to be based on Grant's own personal papers, this book takes us on a fascinating journey from the actor's difficult childhood through years of struggle in music halls and vaudeville, a hit-and-miss career in Broadway musicals, and three decades of film stardom during Hollywood's golden age.

Interesting but lengthy
Revisado: 04-16-24
There are many interesting things about his life, I found the book a little lengthy and drying some parts, but overall a good book

Benjamin Button was literally born an old man. He lived a backwards life, for his body grew younger as the years passed him by. Come and listen to the original, unabridged story by F. Scott Fitzgerald which inspired the movie.

A sad life
Revisado: 02-13-24
At times, his life is sad, at times his life is very self-centered. The fact of how he came to be really left a lot of unanswered questions. I’ve never read anything by Fitzgerald until now, this comes across as a commentary on the rest of the people in his life, being more concerned about appearances then the well-being of another human being, so perhaps that was the intent. I did not enjoy the story at all.
