Great box set!!

Thoroughly enjoyed this series. The entire story was written well.
I will admit I do prefer sex scenes when described by a female narrator, but even so, it was well done.

I recommend this series to anyone interested in fantasy and harem stories.

Well written and all around good!

Honestly I really enjoyed this series. I will admit that there were some seriously dark moments throughout the series. But considering the MC is a Necromancer and this is a truly lovecraftian style story, you kinda have to accept the really dark spots.

Seriously crazy Harem though. Almost surprising that the MC survives some of his women.

A wonderful Anthology of Knights, maidens, and Warrior Women.

I love Anthologies like this because you get a taste of many different writing styles from Authors within a genre.
This particular collection definitely provides hours of entertainment.

Finally the sequel!!!

I know many people lambasted the first novel in this series, but I admired its originality, world building, and the depth of its characters.

I’m glad to see that the sequel was possibly better than the first. And the expanded knowledge of the enemy, while limited, does enlighten the listener’s perspective. Though the hook of the ending was barbed and frustratingly unexpected.

A Masterpiece!

Truly a masterpiece. And a refreshing take on such a classic. Weaving a web of deception and the creation of a mastermind of diabolical plots. Yes, it’s a twist on the entire cannon of SH works. However, it’s also a logical way to turn a man into something he was never meant to be.

Slow in the beginning, but…

Really slow in the first half, but a wonderful story.
Though I’d call the ending bittersweet instead of happy, the motivation behind the MC’s choice is logical and I think… selfless.

Honestly surprised

Usually when I take a chance on books with such mundane cover art, the stories are generally just as mundane.

But this book was an exception. This story was a ride from the beginning.
And it explores a really interesting potential when it comes to the balance between Heaven and Hell.

All in all a great story that has interesting MC’s.

Not as good as the last, however…

It may not be quite as good as the last, but that’s simply because I happened to predict the villain before it became obvious.
However we found out who the villain was pretty much immediately in the last book, so I can’t subtract a star for that. Regardless, it was still a quality addition to the Argeneau series. Also really loved that the immortal was so good with and considerate about the child of his LM.

As a single guy in his mid 30’s, most women I meet are single mothers, and it’s nice to see those types of potential relationships in novels.

If only dating were as simple as finding a LM like the Argeneau’s! Lol.

Wonderful story, however

This is one of the better haremlit series I’ve come across. While the plot is rather formulaic, it doesn’t get boring.

I only have 2 issues.

The first is the lack of imaginative descriptions during the “Bonding” scenes. The wording felt bland.

The second thing is that for some reason, within this omnibus there are points where the narrator’s sentences seem to repeat. It happens 3-5 times. Possibly file corruption?
