This story draws you in and keeps you there. Barbara Kingsolver just gets better and better.
Love how she turns a phrase.
Charlie Thurston did an amazing job and every word was clear and precise.

Loved listening to this book. Right from the beginning the narrator of this book had me with her clear voice. I am hearing impaired, I have a cochlear implant, but was able to hear every word and distinguish each characters voice. I will definitely be looking for the next book!

A Whole lot of fun!

This was an interesting story with a lot of fun characters. I enjoyed getting to know them. One of those stories that you wish would go in so you could follow their lives for a bit longer. I did hate the husband. And I think I was supposed to!
Connie Shabshab brought life to the writing of the author and I enjoyed her narration.

This was an inspiring book. I loved it as a daily devotional but I have to be honest, I couldn’t wait for each day to come and listened to several days in a row. Also makes a great gift
The narration was excellent and added to my enjoyment. I hope Connie Shabshab narrates more in the Christian genre.
