Third times the charm!
Revisado: 02-23-17
If you could sum up Tainted Future in three words, what would they be?
better than before
Would you be willing to try another book from Ashley Fontainne? Why or why not?
I must! The cliffhanger ending finally has me clinched!
Have you listened to any of Rebecca Roberts’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Rebecca's voice talents never disappoint. Male or female, young or old character, and now even using an ethnic character... no matter how many characters she depicts, her distinct character voices help to carry the story well, even when the story is lacking.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
As a third book to a series that I wasn't entirely sold on, the way that the characters were now combined into a recognizable group of people who I cared about and hoped for their happy ending made the entire story much more satisfying... although, I wasn't expecting a cliffhanger, as I didn't realize that there would be a 4th book.
Any additional comments?
Looking forward to the 4th. I'll be sad if we lose any more of the characters. Seems inevitable in a zombie story.

Zombies II
Revisado: 12-06-16
Would you try another book from Ashley Fontainne and/or Rebecca Roberts?
I would consider a non-zombie story from Ashley Fontainnne, and I'm definitely hooked on the voice talents from Rebecca Roberts!
Has Tainted Reality turned you off from other books in this genre?
Yes, I think even zombie movies are a stretch, but the story book telling of a zombie genre leaves a lot to be desired.
Which character – as performed by Rebecca Roberts – was your favorite?
Is it Jessie? The character who had to watch her mom die.
Was Tainted Reality worth the listening time?
No, it's my opinion that a written zombie story, even narrated, just isn't what it could be.

Zombie story in disguise
Revisado: 04-02-16
The zombie genre is not my favorite, but going into this book I did not know that it would go that way...so on a less than biased review...it seemed like the intro was easy to follow and the character introductions were easily identifiable (largely due to excellent voice talent). The middle of the story was gory, as expected, but somewhat predictable. And finally, the ending...I may be missing something...but it seemed to foreshadow an idea for a scientific resolution to the story, but really, seemed to have no ending whatsoever.

An Unexpected Adventure!
Revisado: 02-26-16
Would you consider the audio edition of The Comfort of Black to be better than the print version?
The narrator adds elements to the flow of this story that would be seriously lacking in the telling of the story through print alone.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
The plot truly kept me on the edge of my seat! The plot-twists in the story had an easy flow to them, but completely unforeseeable!
Which scene was your favorite?
The erotica in a story tends to be my favorite, but the sexual interaction between Hannah and Black was simple and well-timed...and very satisfying!
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
If you can't have revenge, at least have Black.
Any additional comments?
*spoiler* For those who prefer to read a story that has a definitively happy ending, this might not be the book for you. It's open for debate though.

Erotica...with some violence
Revisado: 01-20-16
Would you try another book from Emma Rider and/or Rebecca Roberts?
One of my favorite genres is erotica...and this book does (eventually) satisfy. However, the building of the plot required the naiveté of the main character in order to create a plot for seduction, which I found unbelievable, given her prior circumstances. I'm also not a fan of boxing/violence so this may not have been a good fit for me. However, the characters were clear, thanks to the narrator, and creativity with each character voice made it easy to follow along.
Would you be willing to try another book from Emma Rider? Why or why not?
I'm not familiar with any other titles by Emma Rider, but I'm always glad to try out any new erotica stories. Seduction is key. I'll be curious if she has other strategies for creating the allure and art of seduction.
Which character – as performed by Rebecca Roberts – was your favorite?
Surely the main character is the fav for me. Putting myself in her position was unfamiliar territory...but I'm always glad to feel "seduced" through the character's experiences.
Could you see WANT being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
It's possible to make this story into a movie...but the boxing plot would have to be an even bigger part of the story and thus, of little to no interest to me.

Sex. Lies. Romance. Love. My life has it all. I do what I want, when I want and no one can stop me. This isn't a story of how I found my prince. Or my how my prince found me. I'm that girl that everyone wants to hate, but they don't know my story. This is my chance to let everyone know the real me. The shocks in my life. The highs in my life. The lows in my life. I had a lover and a friends with benefits when I met the man I thought was 'The One'. Only thing is he had a bigger secret than I did. I sure didn't see that coming.

Convincingly erotic!
Revisado: 08-20-15
Would you consider the audio edition of The True Diary of That Girl to be better than the print version?
n/a
What was one of the most memorable moments of The True Diary of That Girl?
The erotic and naughty scene on the subway was shocking and memorable!
Have you listened to any of Rebecca Roberts’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This was my first experience with narration by Rebecca Roberts and I look forward to more. Her soothing voice style positively contributes to the writing style of this particular book especially well! I truly felt the narrative expression all throughout!
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
She'll take your breath away (and your man) with a powerful and mysterious allure.
Any additional comments?
Obviously, the book leaves you hoping/wondering if there is a sequel. (??)

Exactly how my soul has always felt
Revisado: 03-07-15
It took me many years to get to the spiritual level to be able to accept such things. I grew up Mormon and like most followed the religions of our parents. My journey to discover truth is too long to write here but after listening to Coast to Coast AM and learning other ways it opened my mind to be able to fully allow the knowledge of my soul that was already there to come through. This book doesn't teach it reminds you of truths you have always felt.
