Historia
Dev Deshpande has always believed in fairy tales. So it’s no wonder then that he’s spent his career crafting them on the long-running reality dating show Ever After. As the most successful producer in the franchise’s history, Dev always scripts the perfect love story for his contestants, even as his own love life crashes and burns. But then the show casts disgraced tech wunderkind Charlie Winshaw as its star.

A delightful gay rom com
Revisado: 08-21-23
This book and recording are so good - sweet, hilarious, a little heartbreaking, kind of a lot groundbreaking, and, yes, charming. I laughed and cried and also thought a lot. Charlie and Dev and their supporting cast are lovely. And I don’t really like any reality TV. This works so well, though. Highly recommend.

Historia
When his mother became President, Alex Claremont-Diaz was promptly cast as the American equivalent of a young royal. Handsome, charismatic, genius—his image is pure millennial-marketing gold for the White House. There's only one problem: Alex has a beef with the actual prince, Henry, across the pond. And when the tabloids get hold of a photo involving an Alex-Henry altercation, U.S./British relations take a turn for the worse.

The book, the audio …
Revisado: 07-22-23
and now a movie. This story seized my heart and my mind and hasn’t let go for nearly two years. It’s about coming of age, it’s about politics, it’s about family, it’s about friendship. But most of all it’s about love - nay, queer love - and, as Alex says in his first speech, “Love is indomitable.” That’s it. That’s what the book is about. And it is so good. Thanks to Casey (author) and Ramon (audio narrator) and Matthew (the movie’s director). ♥️🤍💙

Historia
A Honeybee Heart Has Five Openings begins as the author is entering her 30s and feeling disconnected in her life. Uneasy about her future and struggling to settle into her new house in Oxford with its own small garden, she is brought back to a time of accompanying a friend in London - a beekeeper - on his hive visits. And as a gesture of good fortune for her new life, she is given a colony of honeybees. This is a subtle yet urgent mediation on uncertainty and hope, on solitude and friendship, on feelings of restlessness and on home; on how we might better know ourselves.

Smart and sweet.

I’m not sure who I love more, Jukes or Williams. Both writer and reader are brilliant, heartwarming and eye-opening. We’ll call it a draw.
