the characters were all interesting and different while being just similar enough to see how they can be a family, also enjoyed the bits of humor mixed in with the drama

Hilarious and well executed

I found the author's execution of cliche rance tropes to be well done, I was either constantly laughing at the antics of the characters or had a huge grin on my face, the VAs also performed superbly, never once dropping or mixing characters and stupendously projecting emotion into every scene. I loved this listen and cannot wait for book 2
